  • Patent number: 10945754
Abstract: An ultrasound device includes: an ultrasound generator; an ultrasound probe; and a distal end treatment portion capable of forming a bone hole when pressed against a bone. The distal end treatment portion includes a base portion, and a distal end portion. The distal end portion includes projections and a valley portion between adjacent projections. Each projection is formed of at least one excision surface that is inclined from a base of the projection to a distal top of the projection. The excision surface is capable of finely crushing the bone. The valley portion includes a valley peak at a distal-most meeting point of adjacent projections such that a surface of the valley extending distally from a point at which the valley meets an outer surface of the base portion to the valley peak is inclined.

  • Patent number: 10682155
Abstract: An ultrasonic treatment system for a joint has an ultrasonic transducer configured to generate ultrasonic vibration at a predetermined frequency, a treatment unit configured to treat a bone or a cartilage with the ultrasonic vibration, a frequency measurement unit configured to measure the frequency of the ultrasonic vibration of the treatment unit, a calculation unit configured to calculate a tilt indicating change, in a predetermined time, of the frequency measured with the frequency measurement unit, and a controller configured to determine whether change of absolute value of the tilt is equal to or larger than predetermined absolute value of the tilt.

  • Publication number: 20190247077
Abstract: An ultrasound probe includes: a probe main body section to which ultrasonic vibration generated by an ultrasound transducer is transmitted; a controller that is connected to the ultrasound transducer and controls generation of the ultrasonic vibration; and a treatment section that is provided on a distal side of the probe main body section and forms a hole in a bone, which is a treatment target, with the ultrasonic vibration. The treatment section has a distal end and a proximal end and includes a columnar portion, a cutting portion that cuts the bone by crushing the bone with the ultrasound vibration and forms the hole, and a discharge portion that discharges cutting debris of the bone cut by the cutting portion toward the proximal end from the cutting portion, the discharge portion including a recessed portion formed in a groove shape inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis.

  • Publication number: 20170202604
Abstract: In An energy treatment system, a judgment section judges whether a vicinity of a treated target, with which an end effector is in contact, is filled with a liquid, in a state that the end effector is in contact with the treated target and a driving current is being output from an output section. In the energy treatment system, a controller executes at least one of stopping an output of the driving current from the output section and issuing an alert to an effect that the liquid is not filled, based on a fact that the judgment section judged that the vicinity of the treated target is not filled with the liquid.
