  • Patent number: 11641069
Abstract: A connector includes multiple first terminals, multiple second terminals, and a housing that holds the terminals. The first terminals are arranged side-by-side in a width direction of the housing, and the second terminals are also arranged side-by-side in the width direction. In the housing, the first terminals are arranged side-by-side with the second terminals in a front-rear direction that is perpendicular to the width direction. In a state where first electrical wires are connected to the first terminals and second electrical wires are connected to the second terminals, the first electrical wires are drawn out to one side in the front-rear direction of the housing, and the second electrical wires are drawn out to the other side in the front-rear direction of the housing.

  • Patent number: 10498060
Abstract: A substrate connection structure that enables a reduction in thickness is provided. An electrical connector (11) of a connector unit (2) has a housing (22) fixed to an LED substrate (10), contacts (21), and reinforcement tabs (23). The housing (22) includes a bottom wall main body (36) arranged in periphery of a notch portion (18) of the LED substrate (10), and support portions (37) arranged at end portions of the bottom wall main body (36) in a width direction (X1) and supported by a second surface (16) of the LED substrate (10).

  • Patent number: 10256556
Abstract: The actuator (20) of the electrical connector (11) is configured such that pressure contact between the contacts (21) and the flexible connection member (8) is canceled by the actuator (20) being arranged at an open position (A1), and the contacts (21) are brought into pressure contact with the flexible connection member (8) by the actuator (20) being arranged at a closed position (A2). A provisional holding mechanism (51) can hold the actuator (20) at a provisional hold position (A3) when the flexible connection member (8) is not connected to the electrical connector (11). The provisional holding mechanism (51) includes first engagement portions (52) provided on a housing (22), and second engagement portions (53) provided on the actuator (20).

  • Patent number: 10186806
Abstract: Provided is an electrical connector that allows a contact and a member that is to be connected to the contact to be brought into contact with each other in a more uniform manner, realizes more reliable insulation from a board, and achieve a reduction in height. A partner connection member 4 that is displaced in an insertion direction D1 is inserted into a fitting portion 25 of a housing 6 of an electrical connector 3. A contact 5 is fitted into the fitting portion 25 by being displaced relative to the housing 6 in a direction that is parallel with the insertion direction D1. The contact 5 includes: a first contact portion 11 that is configured to be brought into contact with a conducting portion 2c of a circuit board 2; a second contact portion 12 that is configured to be brought into contact with a conducting portion 4b of the partner connection member 4; and a connecting portion 13 that connects the first contact portion 11 and the second contact portion 12 to each other.

  • Publication number: 20180248286
Abstract: In an electrical connector, it is possible to more reliably suppress unexpected displacement of an actuator, and it is possible to more reliably bring contacts into contact with conductive portions of a flexible connection member. The actuator (20) of the electrical connector (11) is configured such that pressure contact between the contacts (21) and the flexible connection member (8) is canceled by the actuator (20) being arranged at an open position (A1), and the contacts (21) are brought into pressure contact with the flexible connection member (8) by the actuator (20) being arranged at a closed position (A2).
