    Abstract: A program editing device edits a machining program in which a machining path along which a wire electrode of a wire electrical discharge machine machines a workpiece is defined. The machining program includes a plurality of blocks corresponding to respective multiple partial paths into which the machining path is divided, each of the blocks including path information indicating the corresponding partial path. The program editing device includes an analyzer analyzing the machining program and thereby identifying a predetermined shape pattern formed by a series of the multiple partial paths in the machining path, an information generator generating shape information corresponding to the identified predetermined shape pattern, and an editor inserting the shape information into the machining program.

    Abstract: A light-driven fuel cell includes a cathode, an anode, and a proton-permeable membrane between the anode and the cathode. The anode includes a photocatalyst for anaerobic methane oxidation reaction, and when the anode is supplied with methane and water and is irradiated with light, methanol, protons and electrons are generated by anaerobic methane oxidation reaction from the methane and the water supplied to the anode; the protons pass through the proton-permeable membrane and move to the cathode; and the electrons move to the cathode via an external circuit. The cathode includes a photocatalyst for aerobic methane oxidation reaction, and when the cathode is supplied with methane and oxygen and is irradiated with light, methanol and water are generated by aerobic methane oxidation reaction from the methane and the oxygen supplied to the cathode and the protons and the electrons moved from the anode.

When the vehicle decelerates, a target deceleration force or a target deceleration torque of the vehicle is set, and a permissible maximum value of the braking torque to be imparted to rear wheels from a second generator-motor is set, and the permissible maximum value and the target deceleration torque of the vehicle, whichever is smaller, is set as a target braking torque to be imparted from the second generator-motor to the rear wheels.
