    Abstract: To reduce a signal variation of a bridge circuit connected with a temperature sensing resistor that is caused by a strain even when the strain is generated at a diaphragm portion of a substrate installed with a heater resistor and the temperature sensing resistor. In a thermal type flow rate resistor including a substrate, a diaphragm 13 formed at the substrate, and a heat generating resistor 2 and temperature detecting resistors 7 through 10 formed on the diaphragm for detecting a flow rate of a measured fluid by heating the heat generating resistor, strain detecting resistors 11 and 12 are formed on an upstream side and on a downstream side of a flow of the measured fluid relative to the heat generating resistor on the diaphragm, an amount of a strain generated on the diaphragm is detected by the strain detecting resistors, and a flow rate signal detected by the heat generating resistor and the temperature detecting resistors is compensated for the strain based on the detected amount of the strain.

    Abstract: An electrochemical element comprises a container and a sealing plate for sealing an opening of the container. The container is sealed with the sealing plate by welding a portion of the brazing material on the sealing plate and a portion of the metal film of the container which make contact with each other together in a state where a first electrode active material, a separator, a second electrode active material and an electrolyte are contained in the container. An electricity collector sheet is electrically connected to the first electrode active material or the second electrode active material, whichever is closer to the opening of the container. At least a portion of the electricity collector sheet extends to the end portion of the container so that the container and the sealing plate are welded together with the extending portion of the electricity collector sheet in between.

The major axis makes an angle of 30° to 150° with the surface of the sliding portion when observed in a sectional view perpendicular to the surface of the sliding portion.

    Abstract: In a copper-based sliding material in which a Cu alloy layer contains 5% to 30% by mass of Bi, and the balance consisting of Cu and an unavoidable impurity, Bi is dispersed as particles of a Bi phase in the Cu alloy layer, and the mass ratio of the particles having a particle size of 2 to 50 ?m and a circularity of 0.1 to 0.7 is 30% or more in the entire Bi phase in the Cu alloy layer, so that the particles of the Bi phase are uniformly dispersed in the Cu alloy layer. Therefore, the particles of the Bi phase in the Cu alloy layer are sequentially exposed to a sliding surface as wear of the sliding material progresses while excessive flow-out of molten Bi is prevented, so that improved seizure resistance is achieved.
