  • Publication number: 20160095834
Abstract: The present invention provides a food or drink that emits no offensive odor typified by a fish odor in any form of the food or drink, such as liquid, gel, semi-solid, or solid form, and also suppresses emission of an offensive odor due to time-dependent changes. Further, a food or drink is provided that has, particularly, a superior action of inhibiting platelet aggregation to that of conventional fish-derived EPA and DHA-containing food. The food or drink comprise an algae extract oil, an animal or plant protein, and an emulsifier.

  • Patent number: 8393366
Abstract: A tire tread comprising a plurality of sipes (30), each sipe being delimited by two opposing main walls (31, 32), each of the said walls consisting of a mean surface of which the intersection with the tread surface in the initial condition forms an edge, the mean width of each sipe measured as the mean distance between the edges formed by the opposing main walls (31, 32) of the said sipe on the tread surface in the initial condition is at least equal to 1.5 mm, each of the main walls (31, 32) comprising at least one locking region (310, 320), each locking region collaborating with a locking region opposite in such a way as to mechanically block relative movements of the said walls at least when the tire is in contact with the road surface.

  • Patent number: 7790175
Abstract: The present invention provides a new strain of turkey tail mushroom (Trametes versicolor (L.: Fr.) Pilat) having excellent biological activities (Accession number: FERM BP-10633). The strain is excellent in platelet aggregation inhibitory effect, chemokine gene expression inhibitory effect, antimutagenic effect, antitumor effect, antihypertensive effect, and immunomodulatory effect. The effect of the strain is enhanced synergistically by combining with microalgae and other basidiomycetes. The turkey tail mushroom of the present invention has high safety, and a possibility that a side effect is caused because of long-term continuous use is very low. Thus, it is useful for food/drink, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or the like, the objective of which is the prevention and improvement in inflammation, allergy, tumor, and other diseases.
