Abstract: An image processing device includes a processor; and a memory storing computer readable instructions therein. The computer-readable instructions, when executed by the processor, causes the image processing device to perform: preparing image data representing an image; identifying a first region in the image and a second region disposed inside of the first region; determining an attribute of the first region to be one of a plurality of attributes; and determining, when the attribute of the first region is determined to be the first type attribute, an attribute of the second region by using the attribute of the first region. The plurality of attributes includes a first type attribute indicating one of photo and drawing.

Abstract: An image processing device performs: preparing image data representing an image, the image including a target region consisting of a plurality of target pixels, each of the plurality of target pixels having a pixel value; classifying each of a plurality of target pixels as one of an object pixel and a background pixel other than the object pixel, the object pixel constituting an object represented in the target region; determining whether or not the target region satisfies a first condition related to a relationship between the object pixel and the background pixel to make a first determination result; and judging whether or not the target region is a letter region representing at least one letter based on the first determination result.

Abstract: An image processing device includes a focal pixel setting unit, a near pixel setting unit, a calculating unit, a target pixel determining unit, and an editing unit. The focal pixel setting unit is configured to set a focal pixel among a plurality of pixels in an original image that is represented by original image data. The near pixel setting unit is configured to set a pixel near the focal pixel as a near pixel. The calculating unit is configured to calculate a characteristic value related to luminance of the focal pixel and luminance of the near pixel. The target pixel determining unit is configured to determine, as the target pixel, the focal pixel whose characteristic value satisfies a prescribed condition. The editing unit is configured to generate edited image data by editing the original image data. The edited image data represents an edited image having a supplemental image superimposed on the original image. The supplemental image is superimposed on an area encompassing the target pixel.
