  • Patent number: 6735826
Abstract: Provided is a buckle which comprises a buckle main body 11 and an engagement member 31. The buckle main body 11 comprises a base part 12, at least two insertion holes 18 and 19 provided on the base part 12 with a space in between, to which a belt 2 is inserted, and an upstanding piece 20 provided therebetween for bending the belt 2 in a direction away from the base part 12. The engagement member 31 can be moved to a first position where the buckle can be moved against the belt 2 and to a second position where the buckle can be fixed to the belt 2. Further, the engagement member 31 comprises a pressurizing part 33 for pressurizing the belt 2 in the second position so as to obtain a further bent state and an adjustor 35 capable of adjusting the length of the other belt 3.

  • Publication number: 20040025310
Abstract: A buckle 1 comprises a male member 10 and a female member 20 for receiving and anchoring the male member. The male member 10 has a male member main body 11, a resiliently deformable insertion piece 15 formed on the male member main body, an anchor surface 18 formed on the insertion piece and an operating section 17 also formed on the insertion piece and adapted to resiliently deform the insertion piece. The female member 20 has a female member main body 21, an insertion hole 23 formed in the female member main body and adapted to receive the corresponding insertion piece of the male member inserted into it, anchor-holding surface 27 to be engaged with the anchor surface of the male member so as to hold the male member in the female member and an aperture 25 adapted to expose the operating section of the male member to the outside as the anchor-holding surface is engaged with the anchor surface.

  • Patent number: 6574839
Abstract: In a swivel snap hook having a hook body and a stopper piece, a protrusion, which is molded integrally with a front-end inside engaging face or a front-end outside engaging face of the hook body or the stopper piece, is provided so as to have a minute protruding height and be protruded toward a mating engaging face. Further, a minute portion at a tip end of the protrusion is molded integrally with the mating engaging face. Consequently, the swivel snap hook can be molded such that the front-end outside engaging face of the stopper piece is closed to the front-end inside engaging face of the hook body. Therefore, in the swivel snap hook, a length and a depth of the hook body thereof can be set as the conventional ones, while it can be molded in a state that the front-end outside engaging face of the stopper piece is kept in contact with the front-end inside engaging face of the hook body.

  • Patent number: 6571433
Abstract: A buckle is composed of a buckle body and an insertion body. The buckle includes an engagement and disengagement system in which the insertion body is inserted into the buckle body. An elastic member provided with elasticity, which is made of, for example, natural rubber, synthetic rubber or thermoplastic elastomer, is integrally molded on a pressing surface formed on an operating portion for performing an engagement and disengagement operation of the buckle by bicolor molding means or insert molding means. The pressing surface of the operating portion may be disposed on the buckle body or may be disposed on the insertion body. In either case, it is possible to produce a buckle having a good touch. Consequently, since the operating portion is flexible and soft to the touch, a smooth engagement and disengagement operation of the buckle can be realized.

  • Patent number: 6487759
Abstract: The present invention provides an engaging member which enables a male member and a female member to be engaged with each other easily by sliding them relatively along the longitudinal direction and having a high engaging force, and a manufacturing method thereof. This engaging member includes the male member to be attached on one of components to be connected with each other and the female member to be attached on the other of the components. Engaging projecting portion with which the female member engages is provided on a side edge in the longitudinal direction of the male member. The female member includes an accommodating portion formed along the longitudinal direction so as to accommodate the male member. Hook-shaped portions with which the engaging projecting portion of the male member engages are formed along the longitudinal direction inside the accommodating portion.
