Patent number: 8911810Abstract: An organic fertilizer and an organic feed are produced by removing cadmium from processing residues of scallop (Patinopecten yessoensis) without separating the midgut gland. That is, a small amount of an aqueous citric acid solution is added to the processing residues of scallop including the midgut gland in which cadmium has been accumulated at a high concentration and the mixture of them is heated to 55 to 65° C. Thus, the thin midgut gland membrane is broken and the internal solution of the midgut gland containing cadmium is eluted. Then, solid matters are separated from the mixture including the solid matters and the internal solution of the midgut gland eluted. As the aqueous citric acid solution, a solution prepared by mixing at least 9% by weight of water relative to the processing residues and 1.8 to 3.3% by weight of citric acid relative to the total weight of the processing residues and water is used.Type: GrantFiled: August 18, 2009Date of Patent: December 16, 2014Assignee: Taisei Nozai Co., Ltd.Inventors: Huifeng Ren, Ryoji Fukuda

Patent number: 7012199Abstract: Correction of coordinates input by a user through an input device is effected using coordinate correction parameters. To calculate the coordinate correction parameters, a plurality of reference points are displayed on the input device. Coordinate input is designated by a user, and if the coordinate is determined to correspond to a reference point, then the coordinate input is retained. The process is repeated until a coordinate is kept for each reference point, wherein only remaining reference point(s) for which a corresponding coordinate has not yet been retained are displayed. Once coordinates have been input for the reference points, a correspondence between coordinate input and a reference point is determined, and corresponding coordinates are kept for each reference point. Using correction parameters calculated based on the kept coordinates, it is possible to correct device characteristics of the input device such as position aberration, even if such characteristics are non-linear.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 1999Date of Patent: March 14, 2006Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Ryoji Fukuda

Patent number: 5982928Abstract: A system consisting of a plurality of terminals connected through communication is sometimes used to acquire information input from the terminals to a host terminal and edit/arrange the information in the host terminal when information is exchanged by inputting handwritten characters from the terminals. In this case, the host terminal must recognize the handwritten characters and thereafter process the characters to arrange the handwritten character information. Each terminal can perform character recognition by a unique character recognizing method. The terminals also individually prepare dictionaries for recognition. The host terminal returns the acquired handwritten character information to the terminals and causes the terminals to perform character recognition. Alternatively, the host terminal concentratively manages the character recognizing methods and dictionaries of all the terminals and performs character recognition.Type: GrantFiled: June 19, 1995Date of Patent: November 9, 1999Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kazutoshi Shimada, Eisaku Tatsumi, Shigeki Mori, Kasuhiro Matsubayashi, Shinichi Sunakawa, Takashi Harada, Katsuhiko Nagasaki, Ryoji Fukuda
