  • Patent number: 9680075
Abstract: A light-emitting device in accordance with the present invention includes a mounting substrate; an LED chip bonded to a surface of the mounting substrate with a bond; and an encapsulating portion covering the LED chip. The bond transmits light from the LED chip. The mounting substrate includes: a light-transmissive member having a planar size larger than that of the LED chip; and first and second penetrating wirings which penetrate the light-transmissive member in the thickness direction thereof and are electrically connected to first and second electrodes of the LED chip via first and second wires, respectively. The light-transmissive member includes at least two light-transmissive layers with different optical properties which are stacked in the thickness direction. A light-transmissive layer of the light-transmissive layers which is farther from the LED chip is higher in reflectance to the light.

  • Patent number: 9669736
Abstract: A vehicle includes vehicle body-side steps having a plurality of abutment surfaces on which seat-side protrusions abut from above. Each abutment surface has a height different from each other, with the seat being adjustable in height by selectively abutting the seat-side protrusions on the abutment surfaces. A rider's seat has a covering portion formed at a front portion thereof and extending substantially in parallel with an inclined upper surface of a fuel tank. When abutment positions of the seat-side protrusions are changed from either first ones of the abutment surfaces to second ones, the covering portion changes a position thereof so as to slide substantially in parallel with the inclined upper surface of the fuel tank.

  • Patent number: 9556833
Abstract: An air cleaner positioned above a cylinder head is connected to an intake port of the cylinder head through a connecting tube, a throttle device, and an insulator. An insulator attachment surface is formed in a rear-side wall of a cylinder head such that the insulator attachment surface is inclined to extend in a forward direction while extending upwardly. An insulator is formed in such an arc shape in a side view wherein a flow direction of air flowing inside the insulator is directed more in a forward direction as the air approaches the cylinder head. A throttle device having an intake passage thereof directed in a vertical direction is connected to the insulator. A connecting tube is formed to curve in such a shape that the connecting tube has its upstream end opened in a forward direction and is rounded outwardly in an obliquely rearward direction.
