  • Publication number: 20200372278
Abstract: An information processing method and apparatus are provided that performs operations including identifying, from an image obtained via an image capture device, at least one character string that is relevant in identifying information to be extracted from the image; defining an area, within the image, that includes information as an information extraction area, the information including a plurality of information elements; selecting a region within the defined area where the information to be extracted is expected to be present using a feature within the defined area; removing the feature from the selected region and correcting one or more errors associated with the information caused by the removal of the feature and extracting one or more alphanumeric characters from the corrected information, wherein the extracted one or more alphanumeric characters correspond to the elements of the information and are associated with a respective one of the at least one character strings.

  • Patent number: 7751007
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes an orientation film on a liquid-crystal-side surface of at least one substrate out of respective substrates which are arranged to face each other with liquid crystal therebetween. The orientation film forms a pattern which is constituted of either a plurality of notches or holes which are spaced from one another on an edge of the orientation film which is beyond a periphery of a display region, and the pattern is formed along an entirety of the edge of the orientation film. The edge of the orientation film is formed along a periphery of the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20090096366
Abstract: An organic EL display device which can prolong a lifetime by suppressing a growth of black spots when the display device is operated for a long time can be realized. An element substrate on which organic EL layers are formed is hermetically adhered to a sealing substrate on which a desiccant is mounted by way of a sealing portion. The element substrate and the sealing substrate are curved outwardly. Particularly, by curving the element substrate outwardly, a growth of black points can be prevented when the organic EL display device is operated for a long time. Accordingly, a lifetime of the organic EL display device can be remarkably prolonged.

  • Patent number: 5480048
Abstract: A multilayer wiring board fabricating method and a multilayer wiring board fabricated with use of the method that a solvent-free fluid polymer precursor is put on a wiring layer of a base substrate, and space among the wirings is exhausted and is filled with the precursor, and the precursor is hardened under a hydrostatic pressure and then the next wiring layer is formed before the above process is repeated one or more times. The multilayer wiring board fabricating method is excellent in the mass productivity and low cost and in that the wiring can be made highly dense with the substrate having vertical via conductors for connection among the conductor layers.
