  • Patent number: 6082903
Abstract: A bearing device includes a slidemember made of porous-sintered-metal for slidably supporting a rotational shaft, and a holding member made of the same porous-sintered-metal and holding the slide member. The two members are constructed of the same material, and yet the density of the slide member is greater than that of the holding member so that lubricating oil is supplied continuously from the holding member to the slide member due to the capillary phenomenon. The bearing device constructed as above prevents the lubricating oil from flowing out, improves abrasion-resistance, and thereby extends the service life. Further, this construction allows the bearing device to be smaller and thinner.

  • Patent number: 5747908
Abstract: A motor includes a stator core having a plurality of projected poles, a stator coil wound around an insulating portion of the stator core, a printed circuit board for supplying electricity to the stator coil, and a holder having a hollow projection and fixed to the stator core. The projection of the holder is inserted and fixed in a hole formed in the printed circuit board and is used for positioning and fixing the stator core. A portion of the projection of the holder has a hole. A terminal pin is fixed in the hole of the projection of the holder and has a step portion around which the stator coil is. The step portion is fixed to a solder land of the printed circuit board to be wired to the stator coil so as to make the terminal pin and the land electrically conductive.

  • Patent number: 5264748
Abstract: A sleeve-type plain bearing of an axial-flow fan motor, made of sintered oilless metal, for bearing a rotation of a rotor has plural protrusions on a thrust bearing surface in a direction vertical to an axial direction of the rotor, and thereby lubricant impregnated in the sintered oilless metal is always supplied in spaces formed by the thrust bearing surface, the protrusions and a thrust plate provided on the rotation shaft.

  • Patent number: 5027025
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a flat brushless motor utilizable as a warning in a portable communication device. The center of gravity of the rotor assembly is displaced from the center of rotation so that, by the rotation of the unbalanced rotor assembly, vibrations can be generated and the. By elimination of an eccentric or the like for generating the vibrations, a manufacture in a flat and compact size, as well as a reduction in the number of component parts, can be attained.
