  • Publication number: 20070228005
Abstract: The invention provides a method for easily and promptly erasing an image (including a character) formed on a printed article with a low cost, and an apparatus employing such method. A printed article bearing an image formed on a surface including an inorganic pigment is exposed to a reactive gas generated by creeping discharge or corona discharge induced by a voltage applied between a pair of opposed electrodes, whereby the image is erased.
    Type: Application
    Filed: September 7, 2005
    Publication date: October 4, 2007
Applicants: Canon Kabushiki Kaisha, Ajinomoto Co., Inc., Space Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.
Inventors: Waka Hasegawa, Yuichi Hashimoto, Naotoshi Miyamachi, Ryosuke Fudou, Naoko Tsuyoshi, Tadashi Asano
  • Publication number: 20070044681
Abstract: A compound denoted by general formula (1) below; wherein n denotes an integer from 0 to 8 and wherein each X denotes either a residue denoted by general formula (2) below or an amino group and at least one X is a residue denoted by general formula (2) below; and wherein R denotes C5H11 or C7H15 is provided.
    Type: Application

  • Publication number: 20040150702
Abstract: A decoloring ink for ink jet printing containing an Monascus pigment. An inclusion of an Monascus pigment enables printed characters and/or images to be preserved as long as they are kept in the dark, but they are quickly decolored on exposure to visible light and/or ultraviolet light when they are no longer needed.

    Publication date: August 5, 2004
Inventors: Naoko Tsuyoshi, Ryosuke Fudou, Shigeru Yamanaka, Toshikatsu Furunaga, Kimiko Sato, Yoshiyuki Kondo
  • Patent number: 6506431
Abstract: The spore germination inhibitor of the invention is 6-carbamoyl-2-pyridine carboxylic acid which is produced by a microorganism of genus Bacillus, such as Bacillus subtilis, and can inhibit germination of sporogenous bacteria resulting in the prevention of spoilage and putrefaction of foods, particularly in combination with D-alanine.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 13, 2001
Date of Patent: January 14, 2003
    Assignee: Ajinomoto Co., Inc.
Inventors: Katsunori Kobayashi, Shigeru Yamanaka, Tomomi Kuwahara, Hiroshi Miyano, Kohki Ishikawa, Ryosuke Fudou
  • Publication number: 20020061561
Abstract: According to the present invention, there are provided microorganisms having an ability to producing xylitol or D-xylulose by fermentation, and a method for producing xylitol or D-xylulose using the microorganisms. Osmophilic microorganisms were collected from soil, and the obtained microorganisms were searched for a bacterium having an ability to produce xylitol or D-xylulose from glucose. Xylitol or D-xylulose is produced by culturing an isolated bacterium in a suitable medium to accumulate xylitol or D-xylulose in the medium, and collecting xylitol or D-xylulose from the medium.
    Type: Application
    Filed: July 12, 2001
    Publication date: May 23, 2002
    Applicant: AJINOMOTO CO., INC.
Inventors: Yasuhiro Mihara, Sonoko Takeuchi, Yasuko Jojima, Naoto Tonouchi, Ryosuke Fudou, Kenzo Yokozeki
