  • Publication number: 20200089454
Abstract: A printing system includes print controllers provided respectively for print engines and a hardware processor that selects a print controller for performing job allocation processing for determining a job executing printer, from the print controllers. The print controller is capable of performing first processing (job allocation processing) for performing job allocation processing and second processing (RIP processing) for generating drawing data for execution of a print job by the relevant print engine, and when a print job is provided from a client terminal, the hardware processor estimates efficiency of processing of the print job, and based on a result of the estimation, determines a print controller for performing job allocation processing.

  • Publication number: 20190263111
Abstract: When generating corrected image data from the present page based on the print job, the image processing apparatus reuses a result of image process for correction to the pixel group of the reference page at the same coordinates for a region of the first pixel group of the present page, reuses a result of image process for correction to the pixel group of the reference page on the same axis in the paper conveying direction for a region of the second pixel group of the present page, and newly executes the image process for correction to a region of other pixel groups which have not been detected as the first pixel group and as the second pixel group of the present page.

  • Patent number: 10338862
Abstract: An object of the invention is to solve low productivity of foil-stamping printing due to frequent replacement of foil rolls when the positions of sizes of foil objects are different in a plurality of jobs. A grouping unit groups jobs on the basis of a foil roll which can be attached to a foil stamping device and foil object information. A job sorting unit sorts the grouped jobs on the basis of a sorting policy by group. A foil-stamping print data transmitting unit transmits foil-stamping print data including the foil object, which is extracted from print data to a foil stamping device. A foil roll replacement information output unit outputs foil roll replacement information indicating a timing that a foil roll is replaced.
