    Abstract: A display device as an embodiment of the present invention is provided with a light source, a light splitting portion for causing first emission light emitted from the light source to be surface-reflected as first reflected light, a retro-reflection portion for retro-reflecting the first reflected light toward the light splitting part as retro-reflected light, and a first light blocking portion for blocking surface-reflected light surface-reflected by the retro-reflection part toward an observation position of the retro-reflected light. The light splitting portion is configured to transmit at least some of the retro-reflected light.
