At each layer of every slot, the leg part on the one side of one rectangular wire coil is laid on the outside in the radial direction of the leg part on the other side of another rectangular wire coil. A second jig is pressed against the plurality of rectangular wire coils from one side in the axial direction toward the other side in the axial direction.
