  • Publication number: 20230312301
Abstract: A printing apparatus includes a printing unit, a first conveyance unit configured to convey a print medium in a conveyance direction, a second conveyance unit configured to convey a print medium printed by the printing unit, on a downstream side in the conveyance direction of the first conveyance unit, and a control unit configured to perform reduction control of reducing an overlap amount of a preceding print medium and a succeeding print medium, from an overlap state in which the succeeding print medium overlaps a trailing edge of the preceding print medium. The reduction control includes control of conveying the preceding print medium conveyed by the second conveyance unit faster than the succeeding print medium conveyed by the first conveyance unit, in a state in which the first conveyance unit is capable of conveying the succeeding print medium.

  • Publication number: 20230311543
Abstract: A printing apparatus comprises a supply unit configured to supply a print medium, a first roller configured to transport the print medium, a printing unit configured to print onto the print medium, and a control unit capable of controlling the supply unit and the first roller to create a state of overlap in which a leading end part of a following print medium overlaps a following end part of a preceding print medium on an upstream side of the first roller in the transport direction of the print medium. The control unit adjusts an overlap amount in the state of overlap on the upstream side of the first roller in the transport direction of the print medium based on print data for the preceding print medium and print data for the following print medium.

  • Publication number: 20050180334
Abstract: A monitoring path changing method is disclosed that changes monitoring paths by sending and receiving monitoring path control information in a system having a monitoring control terminal to control and monitor plural transmission devices with use of the monitoring paths. Each of the monitoring paths corresponds to an area within a transmission channel data frame. The monitoring path control information controls the monitoring paths. The monitoring control terminal is connected to one of the transmission devices. The transmission devices are connected to each other via transmission channels so as to form a network.
