  • Publication number: 20110157305
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes: an image synthesis unit generating a synthesized image by inputting images photographed at different positions and connecting strip areas cut from the images. The image synthesis unit generates a left-eye synthesized image applied to display a 3-dimensional image by connecting and synthesizing left-eye image strips set in the images and generates a right-eye synthesized image applied to display a 3-dimensional image by connecting and synthesizing right-eye image strips set in the images. The image synthesis unit performs a process of setting the left-eye image strip and the right-eye image strip in an allowable range of set positions of the left-eye image strip and the right-eye image strip used to generate the left-eye synthesized image and the right-eye synthesized image, which are at different observing points, applicable to display the 3-dimensional images by acquiring the allowable range from a memory or calculating the allowable range.

  • Publication number: 20100061707
Abstract: In a high speed image capturing state, a camera signal processing circuit is not needed to perform a signal process at a high screen rate, but at a regular screen rate. In the high speed image capturing mode, raw data of 240 fps received from an image sensor 101 are recorded on a recording device 111 through a conversion processing section 201 and a recording device controlling circuit 210. Raw data that have been decimated and size-converted are supplied to a camera signal processing circuit 203 through a pre-processing circuit 202 and an image being captured is displayed on a display section 112 with a signal for which a camera process has been performed.

  • Publication number: 20080284878
Abstract: The present invention relates to an image processing apparatus, method, and program which compress images so as to improve contrast without losing sharpness. An adder 33 calculates an illumination-component addition/subtraction remaining amount T (L) by an adder 25 to a multiplier 32. An adder 34 adds T (L) to an original illumination component, and calculates a gain-optimum illumination component T (L)?. An aperture controller 23 performs aperture correction which is dependent on an illumination-component level on the basis of an adaptation area determined by a reflectance-gain coefficient calculation section 35. An adder 37 adds T (L)? to the texture component after the aperture correction. Thus, a luminance signal Y2 after dynamic-range compression is obtained. An HPF 41 to an adder 43 perform LPF processing on a chroma signal of a low-band level portion. Thus, a chroma signal C2 after the dynamic-range compression is obtained. The present invention can be applied to a digital video camera.
