  • Publication number: 20250111038
Abstract: An unprotected area of a storage stores a monitoring application. A protected area of the storage stores a duplicate application that is a copy of the monitoring application at a point in time when the monitoring application was stored in the unprotected area. Based on an execution signal of the monitoring application, a CPU stores, as first data in a RAM, a copy of a source code included in the monitoring application. The CPU also executes the monitoring application based on the first data. Based on the execution signal, the CPU stores, as second data in the RAM, the copy of the source code included in the duplicate application. During execution of the monitoring application, the CPU stops execution of the monitoring application when a discrepancy is detected between the first data and the second data.

  • Publication number: 20250060805
Abstract: The information processing device includes a CPU, DRAM, SRAM and hibernation circuitry. The hibernation circuit executes an evacuation processing of reading out particular data which is data stored in DRAM and storing the particular data in SRAM when a predetermined execution condition for hibernation is satisfied. CPU shuts off the electric power supply to DRAM while maintaining the electric power supply to SRAM after the evacuation processing is completed. When startup, CPU reads out the particular data stored in SRAM when the particular data is stored in SRAM.

  • Publication number: 20240357432
Abstract: The OTA master downloads data from the OTA server via the off-vehicle network. The processing circuit of the OTA master determines whether the communication speed when downloading data via the external network is less than the determined communication speed. When the processing circuit determines that the communication speed will be less than the determined communication speed, the processing circuit proposes to the user to change the communication plan to a communication plan that allows the communication speed to be higher than or equal to the determined communication speed.

  • Publication number: 20240345824
Abstract: A vehicle is equipped with an OTA master. A processing circuit of the OTA master predicts whether a prohibition period occurs when an activation process of activating software in a storage device of a target ECU is performed the next time the vehicle is started, the prohibition period being a period during which the vehicle is prohibited from starting to move or the use of a specific function in the vehicle is prohibited. When the processing circuit predicts that the prohibition period occurs when the activation process is performed the next time the vehicle is started, the processing circuit notifies a user of the vehicle of the length of the prohibition period.
