Patent number: 9683631Abstract: A downsized hydraulic system for a vehicle having a mechanical oil pump and an electric oil pump is provided. The hydraulic system comprises a first check valve allowing oil to flow only from the mechanical oil pump to an oil requiring site, and a second check valve allowing oil to flow only from the electric oil pump to an oil requiring site. The first check valve comprises a first port connected to an outlet of the mechanical oil pump, a second port connected to an outlet port of the second check valve, and a third port connected to the oil requiring site. The first check valve is adapted to provide a communication among those three ports by opening the first port, and provided with a through guide allowing the oil to flow between the second port and the third port even when the first port is closed.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2015Date of Patent: June 20, 2017Assignee: TOYOTA JIDOSHA KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Ryota Takayanagi, Akiko Nishimine, Hiroaki Kimura

Patent number: 8944563Abstract: A recording apparatus includes an ejecting head that ejects fluid onto a recording medium, and a head moving portion that makes the ejecting head reciprocate in a first direction. In the recording apparatus, the head moving portion includes a guide shaft which is arranged along the first direction, a first carriage which is supported on the guide shaft, and moves in the first direction along the guide shaft, and a second carriage which is provided integrally with the ejecting head, is provided so as to be movable in a second direction in which a distance between the ejecting head and the recording medium is changed between the first carriage and the second carriage, and is positioned in a state where a part of the second carriage is abutted against the guide shaft such that inclination of the ejecting head with respect to the first direction is restricted.Type: GrantFiled: December 27, 2012Date of Patent: February 3, 2015Assignee: Seiko Epson CorporationInventor: Ryota Takayanagi

Patent number: 8794089Abstract: A transmission includes first and second rotating shafts arranged in parallel and multiple gear sets including gears fixed to the first rotating shaft and rotatable gears rotatably supported on the second rotating shaft. Each gear set includes first and second engagement units engaged with first and second engagement-target portions formed on end surfaces of each rotatable gear and transmitting torque in first and second rotational directions; and a shift mechanism axially and independently moving the first and second engagement units. Each one of the first and second engagement units has a slanted portion allowing the engagement unit to withdraw from the rotatable gear when the other one of the engagement units is disengaged and torque transmitted in a corresponding direction is input. Each one of the first and second engagement unit of each gear set moves integrally with the other one of the engagement units of an adjacent gear set.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2012Date of Patent: August 5, 2014Assignee: Fuji Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Hiroshi Ogawa, Yasuyuki Ukon, Ryota Takayanagi, Masaya Miyazaki
