  • Patent number: 9752526
Abstract: A load driving device including a converter, an output circuit and a timer circuit is provided. The converter receives a communication frame including a data signal through a serial communication and performs parallel conversion on the data signal to output an instruction signal instructing the output circuit to transition to a first state when the data signal includes first serial data and output an instruction signal instructing the output circuit to transition to a second state when the data signal includes second serial data. A timer circuit measures a duration time during which the converter receives the first serial data. When the measuring duration time arrives at an abnormality determination time, the timer circuit forces the output circuit to transition to the second state when the measuring duration time arrives at an abnormality determination time.

  • Patent number: 9303572
Abstract: A microcomputer is formed of a CPU and a detection circuit and inputs sensor signals of a vibration sensor and a rotation sensor. The detection circuit includes an AD converter circuit for AD conversion of the sensor signal of the vibration sensor at a predetermined sampling interval, a peak hold circuit for detecting a peak value of the sensor signal, a RAM for storing the peak value, a counter for detecting a crank angle at a peak value detection time, and an angle calculation part. The microcomputer divides a pre-ignition check interval into plural interval units and checks the pre-ignition based on the peak value detected in each unit interval. The pre-ignition and the knock are checked by using different threshold values in an interval, in which the pre-ignition check interval overlaps a knock check interval.

  • Patent number: 9074538
Abstract: An abnormal combustion detection apparatus detects an abnormal combustion of an internal combustion based on a vibration waveform from a vibration sensor attached to the internal combustion engine. A gain circuit of the apparatus amplifies or attenuates the vibration waveform from the vibration sensor, an AD conversion circuit converts a waveform provided by the gain circuit to digital data, and a gain switching unit switches a gain of the gain circuit from a small gain value to a large gain value at a gain switch timing. The gain switching unit separates a large abnormal combustion from a small abnormal combustion in an abnormal combustion determination period for maximizing a dynamic range of an AD conversion circuit and for securely detecting a change of waveform amplitude in case of gain switching in an abnormal combustion detection operation.

  • Patent number: 9037386
Abstract: A sensor signal processing device includes an AD conversion section, a filter section, a timing signal generation section, and an arithmetic section. The timing signal generation section generates a signal synchronized with a crank angle of an engine based on a signal indicating the crank angle and generates a data acquisition timing signal by compensating the signal synchronized with the crank angle with a delay time of the filter. The arithmetic section acquires a plurality of sensor signals, which is transmitted from a sensor, converted from an analog signal to a digital signal by the AD conversion section, and filtered by the filter section, in a term before and after receiving the data acquisition timing signal and generates a data synchronized with the data acquisition timing signal.

  • Patent number: 9006924
Abstract: An internal power circuit lowers a battery voltage supplied always from an external side to generate a standby power voltage. A timer continues to measure an elapse of time in a standby state, after a main relay is turned off and supply of a power voltage is interrupted. A measured time data of the timer is saved to a save register during a time measurement operation of the timer. When a stop condition for stopping the time measurement operation of the timer is satisfied, a control circuit stops the operation of the internal power circuit. When the main relay is turned on, the internal power circuit is activated to start its operation again by the control circuit so that the measured time data saved to the save register is restored to the timer.

  • Patent number: 8178996
Abstract: As a result of a path being connected to an input terminal to allow a first intermediate voltage from a power-side regulator or another external source that does not pass through the power-side regulator to be selectively inputted into any supply-side regulator, a supply voltage can be generated based on the inputted voltage. Therefore, as a result of the relevant supply-side regulator being connected to a path by which the other external source is inputted, a supply voltage having a voltage value differing from that when the first intermediate voltage is inputted can be generated. As a result of the voltage inputted into the supply-side regulator being changed, only the voltage value of the supply voltage generated by the supply-side regulator is changed. Therefore, the variation of the voltage value of the supply voltage that can be provided by a power supply unit can be changed.
