  • Patent number: 7917622
Abstract: On the basis of information of a first user, requesting delivery of content, received from a content reproduction apparatus, a content providing server refers to first and second storage section, as necessary, to specify a second user having purchased or reproduced the same content as the first user, then identify other music content having ever been purchased or reproduced by the second user and then delivers the other content to the first user. The content reproduction apparatus can store the content, delivered from the content providing server, in an overwriting fashion and reproduce the stored content. In this way, the first user is allowed to readily acquire various music content, fitting his or her taste, without performing any particular operation.

  • Patent number: 7902445
Abstract: A housing structure of an electronic keyboard musical instrument, in which a pivotable upper case can be mounted to and dismounted from a lower case when the upper case is in a semi-open state, thereby improving safety and the working efficiency at the time of assembly and maintenance. Pivot coupling parts each include an engagement protrusion comprised of a narrow-width portion and a wide-width portion. An upper case is formed with engagement holes each comprised of a narrow-width counterpart permitting the narrow-width portion to be inserted thereinto and a wide-width counterpart permitting the wide-width portion to be inserted thereinto. By moving the upper case, having a posture thereof corresponding to a mountable/dismountable angle range, in the direction in which the wide-width portions project, the wide-width portions can be inserted into and removed from the wide-width counterparts.

  • Patent number: 7507895
Abstract: Fuel battery generates electric power using a predetermined fuel, and activation and deactivation of the electric power generation can be controlled in accordance with whether or not the fuel should be supplied to the fuel battery. The electric power is supplied to individual circuits/devices of a tone generation section, so that a tone is generated by any of the circuits/devices operating in response to operation of a performance operator unit. The circuits/devices are allowed to electrically operate for a long time with the electric power supplied by the fuel battery. In this way, an electronic musical instrument using the fuel battery can operate for a long time as compared to the conventional electronic musical instruments using a dry battery or storage battery (secondary battery).

  • Patent number: 7456349
Abstract: Electronic keyboard instrument is provided with a leg section supporting thereon a keyboard in such a manner that the keyboard is located at a height falling within a range from 350 mm to 500 mm. Namely, the leg section supports thereon the keyboard at a suitable height that is substantially equal to an average height of ordinary low tables designed on the assumption that they are generally used when users are in a comfortable position. Namely, the “height falling within a range from 350 mm to 500 mm” is derived from survey results of heights of low tables. Thus, when the user sits in front of the keyboard instrument, the user can take a comfortable position as when sitting in front of a low table, and, even in such a comfortable position, the keyboard is located at a right height for playing. With such arrangements, the user is allowed, at any desired time, to readily enjoy playing the instrument in a natural playing posture.

  • Publication number: 20080078283
Abstract: A parameter setting portion B11 sets control parameters in accordance with respective position of operators 41 of movable operating devices 40A, 40B, and delivers the control parameters to a utilization apparatus 24. A target position move control portion B12 controls a motor 45 provided in the movable operating devices 40A, 40B in accordance with target position data stored in a target position storage portion B13 to automatically move the operators 41 to their respective target positions. An operational resistance control portion B14 imparts a resistance to a manipulation of the operator 41 in accordance with the position of the operator 41 by use of a resistance table stored in a resistance storage portion B15. The resistance continuously increases with increasing distance of the operator 41 from its target position or with increasing approach of the operator 41 to its avoidance position.
