    Abstract: An electronic tag sticking apparatus provided with: a tag feeding device that feeds an electronic tag having an adhesive part to a predetermined tag feeding position P1, a tag holding part that holds the electronic tag, a movement device that moves the tag holding part, and a sticking detection device for detecting that the tag has been stuck onto a target object at a predetermined contact position P3. A preparatory operation is performed such that, after the tag holding part is positioned at the tag feeding position P1 by the movement device and the electronic tag fed from the tag feeding device is held by the tag holding part, the tag holding part holding the electronic tag is moved to a standby position P2 and is caused to stand by so as to be oriented in a direction in which the adhesive part is pressed against the target object.
