  • Patent number: 8251644
Abstract: An engine blower includes a centrifugal blower, an engine, and a frame for supporting the centrifugal blower. The centrifugal blower is supported by a back support of the frame via a flexible vibration-proofing section while being connected to the back support via a belt-shaped stopper. An engaging hole is provided on at least one of the centrifugal blower and the back support, and a thick engaging section is provided on at least one end of the stopper for being engaged with the engaging hole. When the stopper is inserted into the engaging hole and the one end of the stopper is pulled, the engaging section is engaged with the engaging hole. By further pulling the one end of the stopper, the engaging section is tightly buried into the engaging hole. Thus, the stopper can be reliably attached to the centrifugal blower or the back support.

  • Patent number: 7849831
Abstract: The present invention relates to a start device for a small-sized engine, which is capable of starting the small-sized engine in an appropriate starting time and is ultimately reduced in size and weight by a rational design. A plurality of secondary batteries is used as a power source required to drive a small-sized electric motor and a small-sized engine, and has a considerably large capacity and an extremely small size. A speed reduction mechanism that has a reduction ratio of 1/30 to 1/90 is disposed between the electric motor and a buffer/power storage section. The start device starts the engine in an extremely short time of 0.4 to 1.3 seconds. Within this range of staring time of the engine, an operator has no uncomfortable feelings.

  • Publication number: 20100193166
Abstract: An insulator is provided with a housing section integrated with an insulating section at a lower portion thereof. The housing section forms a part of a housing of an acceleration pump. Accordingly, the acceleration pump can be disposed at a space around the insulator, which is conventionally a dead space. Thus, a dedicated space for installing the acceleration pump is not required, which achieves space saving. Further, since the acceleration pump is disposed directly around the insulating section, even when a duct that intercommunicates an insulator leading-air passage and the acceleration pump is used, the length of the duct can be reduced to simplify a structure of the interconnection. Furthermore, since the housing section is integrated with the insulating section, the number of components can be reduced to reduce costs and facilitate assembly of the acceleration pump.
