  • Patent number: 9701808
Abstract: A resin composition having high compositional uniformity can be advantageously prepared in industry by depositing a mixture comprising polyolefin particles and fibrous basic magnesium sulfate aggregated particles which satisfies the condition that a value resulting from calculation of formula of DA2×?A/DB2×?B is in the range of 0.2 to 5 in a hopper of a melt kneader through a supply port of the hopper and introducing the deposited mixture into the melt kneader so as to melt and knead the mixture therein, in which DA is a mean particle size (unit: cm) of the polyolefin particles, ?A is a density (unit: g/cm3) of the polyolefin, DB is a mean particle size (unit: cm) of the fibrous basic magnesium sulfate aggregated particles, and ?B is an apparent density (unit: g/cm3) of the aggregated particles.

  • Patent number: 4993542
Abstract: A belt conveyor in which a housing is provided at each longitudinal end of the main frame for accommodating a pulley therein. An endless belt is passed around the pulleys and extend along the upper and lower surfaces of the main frame. Each of the housings consists of a pair of housing blocks attached to either side surface of each end portion of the main frame to rotatably received the pulley therebetween. Each of the housing blocks is provided with a pair of L-shaped pawls which are slidably received by slots provided in the upper and lower surfaces of the main frame, and guide projections slidably received by slots provided in lateral surfaces of the main frame. The slots in the lateral surfaces may have a T-shaped cross section so that the housing block may be secured to the side surface of the main frame by passing a threaded bolt through the housing block and threading it with a nut longitudinally slidably but otherwise unremovable received by the slots in the side wall surfaces of the main frame.

  • Patent number: 4987191
Abstract: A silk-like polyethylene plastic film is disclosed, comprising an extrusion molded film of a mixture of (A) an ethylene/methacrylate copolymer having a methacrylate content of from 10 to 40 weight % and an MFR of from 0.5 to 40 g/10 min. with (B) polyethylene having an MFR of from 0.02 to 5.0 g/10 min., said mixture having amethacrylate content of from 7 to 25 weight % and an MFR ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) of from 0.05 to 120.This silk-like film has no reflective gloss, opacity, soft and smooth touch, and which sounds low when it is crumpled. Thus it is preferably used as throwaway rainwears, medical sheets, etc.
