The single layer film is a copolymer prepared by polymerizing a composition containing a compound (I) represented by the general formula (1) ([X]s[M1]l[M2]m (1)) and a compound (II) having two or more (meth)acryloyl groups in a molecule at a molar ratio of 15:1 to 1:30 and having a water contact angle of 30° or less. Such a single layer film has high hydrophilicity and surface hardness and is excellent in antifogging property, antifouling property and antistatic property, thus is useful as an antifogging material, an antifouling material, an antistatic material and a multilayer body.
