  • Patent number: 7823535
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for dispensing samples or reagents onto a target object are provided. A dispensing position designating section (62) designates the dispensing position on the target object (50), such as a membrane, based on an image of the target object (50) displayed on a monitoring section (60). A dispensing control section (64) positions the target object and the dispensing device relative to each other so that the designated dispensing position on the target object is placed beneath the dispensing device (10) and controls the dispensing operation of the dispensing device (10). A dispensing position information creating section (68) creates dispensing position information about the dispensing position on the target object (50) which is designated by the dispensing position designating section (62) and to which the dispensing operation has been performed and outputs it to the outside.

  • Publication number: 20100196209
Abstract: It is intended to facilitate dispensing of a minute amount of a nonvolatile liquid. In a preferred embodiment, in dispensing of mineral oil (40) onto a reaction solution (170) that is previously dispensed to a probe arrangement part (18), a liquid droplet (40a) of the mineral oil (40) is formed on a tip end of a tip (70) of the nozzle, and the liquid droplet (40a) is transferred into the reaction well while it is in contact with the inner wall face of the reaction well or the surface of the reaction solution (170) previously dispensed to the reaction well.

  • Publication number: 20100028985
Abstract: A reaction vessel suitable for automating of various measurements is provided. In a preferred embodiment, on the same side of plate-like substrate (10), sample injection part (12), typing reagent reservoir part (14) and mineral oil reservoir part (16) are provided as concaves, and further, multiple probe arrangement parts (18) are provided. The typing reagent reservoir part (14) and mineral oil reservoir part (16) are sealed with film (20). The surface of the substrate (10) is covered with detachable sealing material (22) with a size capable of covering the sample injection part (12), typing reagent reservoir part (14), mineral oil reservoir part (16) and multiple probe arrangement parts (18) in such a manner that the film (20) is covered by the sealing material (22). Liquid transfer is carried out through nozzles.

  • Publication number: 20090317898
Abstract: In a preferred embodiment, a gene polymorphism diagnosing reaction vessel at least having a plurality of probe arrangement parts each individually holding a probe that emits fluorescence in accordance with each of a plurality of polymorphic sites is used. A controller (118) determines presence or absence of a gene polymorphism based on a fluorescence intensity value (a time-course gradient) per unit time of a fluorescence detection value obtained from a fluorescence detector (64).
