  • Patent number: 4185296
Abstract: A color television camera of the phase-split type is disclosed wherein an index signal derived by horizontally scanning an index-generating section, produced at the beginning or end portion of vertical scan for an image pickup tube, is converted to a low-frequency signal by a frequency converter so that a low-frequency index signal in at least one horizontal scan period is written into a memory circuit, and the low-frequency index signal is read out for each horizontal scan to produce a standard color television signal from two color-difference signals. The two color-difference signals are derived by processing a modulated color signal, which has been space-modulated by a stripe filter disposed in front of the image pickup tube, and a low-frequency signal or a brightness signal derived from the image pickup tube.

  • Patent number: 4157566
Abstract: The present invention is a color television camera employing a single pick-up tube and producing color component signals utilizing a difference of phase relationships of the modulated color signals, at least one of which changes in successive horizontal scan lines. In such a color television camera, the amplitude of a modulated component signal is controlled by a color error correction signal which is produced from the unmodulated component signals derived from adjacent horizontal line scans, so that color error components are not carried into the color component signals.

  • Patent number: 4121244
Abstract: A solid state color imaging apparatus with a color encoding filter and a solid state area imaging device for producing a color signal representing an optical image of an object. The color filter is formed from a plurality of pairs of color filter strips arranged one above the other in a vertical scanning direction, each of which color filter strips consists of alternating transmissivity filter elements of two different colors. The color filter is placed on the imaging device so that each photosensitive element of the imaging device is covered with a corresponding filter element. During the self-scanning of the area imaging device, first and second signals which represent color difference signals are derived therefrom alternately in the successive scan lines, from which the color signal is produced.

  • Patent number: 4117510
Abstract: Solid state color imaging apparatus for producing a color video signal representing an optical image of an object. In this apparatus, a plurality of sets of horizontal lines of photosensitive elements are arranged one above the other in a vertical scanning direction, each of which photosensitive element lines consists of a plurality of photosensitive elements distributed in a line in a horizontal scanning direction. Charge signals are read out from the sets of photosensitive element lines in each horizontal scanning period and a set of output signals is processed to produce the color video signal.

  • Patent number: 4104679
Abstract: An apparatus and method for suppressing color error components generated in a color television camera of the type in which color component signals representing first and second colors of a color image are recovered by utilizing a difference of phase relationship of modulated color signals, one of which changes in successive horizontal scan lines. In this apparatus and method, a color correction signal which indicates positions of color errors and provides preferred color error correction is produced from an unmodulated component of an output from a pick up tube by operating upon such component.

  • Patent number: 3970894
Abstract: A deflection system for television cameras or the like. It is provided with a circuit for producing a reference sawtooth wave signal and means for comparing the reference sawtooth wave signal and sawtooth wave current flowing in the deflection coil, whereby the current flowing in the deflection yoke is controlled to give linearity and amplitude desired for the deflection by using a signal obtained from the comparison.
