A method for manufacturing a sheet-shaped fiber-reinforced resin material in which a paste (P1) is impregnated between cut fiber bundles (CF), the method for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced resin material including a coating step applying a coating of a paste (P1) on a first sheet (S11) conveyed in a predetermined direction, a cutting step for cutting a long fiber bundle (CF) using a cutter (113A), a scattering step for dispersing the cut fiber bundles (CF) and scattering the cut fiber bundles (CF) on the paste (P1), and an impregnation step for pressing a fiber bundle group (F1) and the paste (P1) on the first sheet (S11) and impregnating the paste (P1) between the fiber bundles (CF).

    Abstract: The present invention provides a composite material sheet wherein a filler is oriented in a given direction in an organic resin matrix by an electric field. The composite material sheet of the present invention 10 contains filler 1 and organic resin 3, and is characterized in that the filler 1 is dendritically aggregated in the organic resin matrix and oriented in the thickness direction. As a result, properties such as dielectric property, conductivity, thermal conductivity and the like can be strikingly improved as compared to conventional composite materials obtained by simply dispersing a filler.

    Abstract: A continuous casting apparatus for continuously casting metal strip through a gap between a pair of opposite internal cooling rolls rotating in the opposite direction to each other, wherein side dams have the bottom surfaces contacting the circumferential surfaces of both rolls and made of refractories having satisfactory abrasiveness, and a mechanism is provided for feeding the side dams in the casting direction at a predetermined speed, the circumferential surface portion of the roll contacting the side dam being formed into a rough surface having grindability, whereby the movement of the side dam by the feeding mechanism is carried out through the wear of the side dam caused by the grinding of the rough surface.
