    Abstract: The invention provides a fishing pole mounting structure that can secure properly firm mounting of a fishing reel. A movable hood part is structured by gradually expanding a predetermined location, in a circumferential direction of a cylindrical body outwardly towards one end in the longitudinal direction from the other end in the longitudinal direction to form a cover hood. The inner surface of the cover hood is formed in a shape corresponding to the end surface, the top surface and side surfaces on the outer end of a reel leg part of a fishing reel, and seats that support the reel leg part of the fishing reel are formed at both sides in the width direction of this inner surface, respectively.

    Abstract: A reel foot placing seat formed on a top portion of a circumferential surface of a body and a trigger protruding in a direction which is inclined in a backward-downward direction at approximately 30°, are provided on the circumferential surface of the body. A length of the portion crossing over a connection portion that connects a lower portion of the body to a front surface of this trigger is such that a user can place two fingers can be placed thereon. The user's two fingers placed thereon are aligned in a direction in which the angle is opened with respect to a direction perpendicular to a center axis X—X of a fishing body. Therefore, without a user significantly bending a wrist, a fishing rod can be firmly gripped. Furthermore, palming becomes possible in a position in which the body and the trigger are held by a user placing four fingers in front of the trigger in addition to placing the thumb on a reel.

    Abstract: For line guides having a frame that includes two rear support legs on its sides, if the inclination of for the rear supporting legs is reduced by lengthening the rear support legs, then the material costs and weight of the frame are increased. Thus, the invention provides a line guide, wherein the length of a rear support leg of a frame for intermediate guides is made longer than the length of a front support leg and a front mounting foot. The front support leg and the front mounting foot are cut and bent out from an area surrounded by the rear support legs. The height of the front support leg is limited to approximately one-fourth (¼) of the outer diameter of a ring holding part. Therefore, due to the low height, it is hard for the line to get tangled, and the accuracy of casting increases. The line is easily released simply by lengthening the rear support leg to reduce the inclination of the rear support legs.

    Abstract: To provide a line guide ring which can be simply formed and which has a pull-out prevention structure which does not disturb a winding configuration of a winding thread. Micro-irregularities are formed on a top surface of an attachment leg portion of a line guide ring, the attachment leg portion is fastened to a fishing pole by using a nylon winding thread with a diameter of 0.1 mm-0.9 mm. A sufficient amount of a liquid reaction hardening resin adhesive is pasted on a surface of the wound winding thread, and the adhesive permeates into concave portions of the irregularities of the attachment leg portion.

    Abstract: The object of the invention is to solve the problem associated with a fishing rod reel seat in which a nut type movable hood scrapes a surface of a body at a position opposite to a mounting foot of the reel when the nut type movable hood causes the mounting foot of the reel to be pressed, a reel seat is provided with a body 33 having a reel foot seat surface 51, a cylindrical movable hood 37 threadedly fitted around the body 33 and a body protector 43 disposed within the movable hood 37. When the movable hood 37 is advanced under the condition that a mounting foot 73 of the reel 71 is seated on the reel foot seat surface 51, one end portion of the mounting foot 73 is inserted into the movable hood 37, and the one end portion is brought into pressing contact with the reel foot seat surface 51. Before that, the body protector 43 is brought into contact with the body 33 on the opposite side to the real foot seat surface 51.

    Abstract: In order to facilitate the removal of the line entanglement, a frame is slanted and a guide ring member is formed into an oblong shape, however, if the guide ring member is oblong, a size of a guide ring member is increased, inversely, if a thickness of the guide ring member is decreased as a whole, a radius of curvature at side end portions of an inner circumferential surface of the guide ring member is decreased, the sliding resistance is increased depending upon an angle of the fishing line. Accordingly, a thickness t on the right and left of both side portions 4b extending in a straight line of the oblong guide ring member 4 is smaller than a thickness T of other portions 4a, the contact angle of the fishing line 10 to these portions 4b is kept almost unchanged, thus, there is no adverse affect against the sliding resistance even if these portions 4b are thinned.

An outer configuration of the bridge is formed substantially into a V-shape with rear end portions being closed as viewed from above and below, the rear end portions being formed into an arrow head having a certain length in longitudinal direction, a lower surface of the rear end portions being formed into a slant surface close to the mounting pipe in accordance with the rear side, and the rear end portions being fixed to an outer circumferential surface of the mounting pipe from below, and, there being not bent portion like stepped portions in the outer shape of the bridge per se.

A portion of the outer periphery of said body in a circumferential direction is removed to define said reel seat surface, and at least said movable hood is provided in coaxial relation to said body, with a tapered outer surface thereof being of diameter diminishing toward said fixed hood.

An annular frame 7 for retaining a guide ring 5, a support leg piece 9 and bridge pieces 25 are formed integrally with each other by a metal plate, a portion other than an inner circumferential portion of the frame 7 is drawn toward the rear portion to thereby form a cylindrical portion 19 surrounding the guide ring 5, the bridge pieces 25 extend gently obliquely rearwardly from an edge 21 of the cylindrical portion 19 facing rearwardly, rear ends of the bridge pieces 25 are continuous at a position separate rearwardly from a rod insertion pipe 17, and the bridge pieces 25 are bent so that their cross-sections perpendicular to a longitudinal direction form L-shapes.
