  • Patent number: 7714905
Abstract: A digital camera such that the order of processing of image data recorded on a recording medium and a method of changing the order of processing of the recorded image data. When an image is recorded, information concerning image data is recorded in an image data management file as a management record of respective image data units. The image number of the images of which the order or processing is desired to be changed is determined, and a desired, processing order is determined. The management records after the image number are saved and the control record of the image to be processed is written in the control record position of the desired processing order. The saved control records are written in the control record positions in the desired order, and the written image numbers are rearranged in the ascending order.

  • Patent number: 7693415
Abstract: A main electronic imaging device takes in as a taken-image an image of a subject obtained through an imaging lens. An electronic finder device photoelectrically first generates the image of the subject and generates an image signal. Based on the generated image signal, the electronic finder device places the imaging range PA substantially at the center, generates an image of finder range FA that is one size larger than the imaging range PA, and provides the image of finder range FA that is generated with an imaging frame 47a that expresses the outer border of the imaging range so as to obtain the image as a finder image, and controls so that the finder image is displayed on a display 47. As a result, the imaging range PA is smaller than the finder range FA but is smaller by only one size. The ratio occupied by the imaging range PA within the finder range FA is accordingly sufficiently large, and the imaging range PA can be recognized easily and without fail.

  • Publication number: 20090290060
Abstract: In a digital camera operation method, photographic images are taken with the camera and a corresponding compressed high resolution image and also a corresponding lower resolution image is stored for each. A fast display mode of the camera sequentially displays individual lower resolution display images, using the data of one of the lower resolution images. A normal display mode displays high resolution display images by expanding and displaying one of the compressed high resolution images. When changing from the fast display mode to the normal display mode, the lower resolution display image currently displayed can be replaced with the corresponding high resolution display image.

  • Patent number: 7522208
Abstract: A digital camera having a color image sensor, an optical system, a rotatable first switch, and a second switch that switches between various modes. The second switch indicates an intermediate point corresponding to the photograph mode, a first point corresponding to the first setting mode, or a second point corresponding to the second setting mode. A first setting unit sets a first processing condition relating to a white balance of an image according to a rotation angle of the first switch in the first setting mode. A second setting unit sets a second processing condition relating to a data size of an image according to a rotation angle of the first switch in the second setting mode. Furthermore, a processing unit processes an output signal of the color image sensor according to a first processing condition and a second processing condition in the photograph mode.

  • Patent number: 7463381
Abstract: To display an HTML document on a display (51), a browser interprets only display tags and ignores print tags. To interpret the tags and display the HTML document, the browser transmits a request for transferring four image files (A1, B1, C1, and D1) to a WWW server (40) and displays the image files on the display (51). When the user clicks on a print button displayed on the display (51) by the browser, the browser interprets tags used for print, transmits a request for transferring four image files (A2, B2, C2, and D2) to the WWW server (40), and prints the four image files on a printer (80).
