  • Publication number: 20180181177
Abstract: An electronic apparatus according to the present disclosure is capable of transmitting and receiving power to/from a connected external apparatus. According to one embodiment, the electronic apparatus includes a CC terminal, a pull-up resistor, a pull-down resistor, a switch configured to switch between a connection of the CC terminal with the pull-up resistor and a connection of the CC terminal with the pull-down resistor, and a communication control unit configured to communicate with the external apparatus via the CC terminal. When the CC terminal connects with the external apparatus, and the connection of the CC terminal with the pull-up resistor is fixed, the communication control unit transmits, to the external apparatus, a PR SWAP message for requesting the external apparatus to enter a state where the external apparatus can supply power to the electronic apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8319371
Abstract: An electronic device includes alight emitting unit that provides backlight to a liquid crystal display unit, a communication unit that transmits video data, and a control unit that controls a current flowing from a DC-DC converter to the light emitting unit. The control unit controls the current flowing from the DC-DC converter to the light emitting unit so as to change an output voltage of the DC-DC converter from a first voltage to a second voltage which is lower than the first voltage. The first voltage is supplied to the light emitting unit and the second voltage is supplied to the communication unit.

  • Patent number: 7808209
Abstract: An electronic device has a voltage converter configured to convert output voltage of a battery for supplying power for operating an electronic device into a preset voltage for output, a constant current load unit configured to receive the voltage output by the voltage converter and output a preset constant current, a battery voltage detector configured to detect the output voltage of the battery, and a remaining charge calculator configured to calculate the remaining charge of the battery based on a first battery voltage obtained by the battery voltage detector when operation of the constant current load unit is stopped and a second battery voltage obtained by the battery voltage detector when the constant current load unit is operating.

  • Patent number: 7295148
Abstract: There is provided a radar system having an input amplitude correcting function in which even when a large reflection wave exceeding a dynamic range of an A/D converter is inputted, an RCS calculation without a time lag can be executed at high precision, high reliability, and low costs without using power amplification degree control such as an AGC circuit or the like. Harmonic peaks of each target peak of an FFT-processed frequency spectrum are detected. When the harmonics are detected, it is determined that the large reflection wave exceeding the dynamic range of the A/D converter has been inputted, and a lost input amplitude is corrected in accordance with a correction table showing a relation between the harmonic order and an input amplitude correction amount which have previously been recorded.

  • Patent number: 7283089
Abstract: A power supply apparatus controls the gate and drain power supplies at the rise time so that an output voltage of the gate power rises earlier than that of the drain power supply. Another power supply control apparatus controls the gate and drain power supplies at the fall time so that an output voltage of the gate power supply fails later than that of the drain power supply. Another power supply control apparatus turns off the drain supply of the FET among power supplies when it is detected by a voltage monitor whenever either of output voltages or the power supplies are not within said specified range.

  • Patent number: 7158074
Abstract: To provide a radar system for controlling a gate power supply and drain power supply of a MMIC (microwave monolithic IC), protecting the MMIC at the time of start and shut-off, and simultaneously avoiding an occurrence of a failure in the MMIC due to a residual charge and an abnormal supply potential at the time of shut-off. A power supply control means controls the gate and drain power supplies at the rise time so that an output voltage of the gate power supply rises earlier than that of the drain power supply. Another power supply control means controls the gate and drain power supplies at the fall time so that an output voltage of the gate power supply falls later than that of the drain power supply. Another power supply control means turns off the drain power supply of the FET among power supplies when it is detected by a voltage monitoring means that even either of output voltages of the power supplies is not within said specified range.
