  • Patent number: 9316196
Abstract: A vehicle controller is installed in a vehicle and controls one or more operations of the vehicle. The vehicle controller includes a control unit that: (i) outputs a first code for authentication to a judging apparatus which judges whether to permit starting of a driving apparatus of the vehicle when a request for starting the driving apparatus is obtained from an information processor which is located outside the vehicle, (ii) controls locking and unlocking of doors of the vehicle when a request for door lock control is obtained from the information processor, and (iii) obtains from the judging apparatus an authentication result of whether the first code and a second code for authentication which the judging apparatus uses are identical. When obtaining the request for door lock control, the control unit controls the locking and unlocking of the doors based on the authentication result.

  • Patent number: 7340160
Abstract: Disclosed is an imaging apparatus capable of realizing a camera shake correction function while reducing the size and power consumption of the apparatus without deteriorating the use efficiency of an image sensor thereof. An imaging device has photoelectric conversion elements arranged two-dimensionally and a transfer path for transferring electric charge converted by the photoelectric conversion element. A motion detection unit detects motion of the apparatus according to timing pulses generated by a time management circuit at shorter intervals than exposure time. A drive circuit transfers the electric charge previously read onto the transfer path for a predetermined distance according to the detected motion. Electric charge newly read out and converted by the photoelectric conversion elements at the intervals of the timing pulses is added to the previous electric charge which has been transferred on transfer path.

  • Patent number: 7154539
Abstract: A photoelectric sensor outputs a signal by a first signal read mode and a second signal read mode. In the first signal read mode, the sensor outputs the pixel signals accumulated in the plural while subsampling the pixel signals for every one line. In the second signal read mode, the sensor outputs sequentially the pixel signals accumulated in two the plural pixels while adding the pixel signals from two pixels adjoining each other. An interlace/non-interlace converter converts the signal output by the photoelectric sensor in the first signal read mode to a non-interlaced signal. A signal processor generates a first video signal by converting the signal converted by the interlace/non-interlace converter into a specified image format in the first signal read mode, and generates a second video signal by converting the signal output by photoelectric sensor into the specified image format, such as a 4:2:2 YUV signal.

  • Patent number: 6765616
Abstract: A photography related to video cameras, camcorders, digital still cameras and others using a solid-state image sensing device, and particularly an electric camera using a solid-state image sensing device with a large number of pixels. The use of an image sensing device with a sufficient number of pixels for still image photographing ensures good performance for the moving image photographing and for the monitoring of a static image photographing. The image sensing device used has an arbitrary number of vertically arranged pixels equal to or more than three times the number of effective scanning lines of the television system. During the moving image photographing and during the monitoring of a static image photographing, the pixels are cyclically mixed together or culled and desired television signals are generated by performing the signal reading processing during the vertical blanking periods and the interpolation processing.
