  • Patent number: 9543598
Abstract: An air-cooled fuel cell-powered motorcycle allowing early detection of a malfunction in a fuel cell stack. The fuel cell-powered motorcycle includes a vehicle body; an electric motor for driving a driving wheel, an air-cooled fuel cell for supplying electric power to the electric motor and a hydrogen tank for storing a fuel gas supplied to the fuel cell, respectively housed in the vehicle body; a fan for supplying air as a reactant and a coolant to the fuel cell; and an exhaust duct for discharging the air having cooled the fuel cell out of a rear end of the vehicle body, the exhaust duct having an inlet connected to a rear end portion of the fuel cell.

  • Patent number: 6761259
Abstract: A moving handrail superior in durability includes a linear belt of which two end portions are connected, forming a loop. This linear belt includes a single-layer or multilayer of thermoplastic elastomer having a C-shape in cross section; metallic and web-shaped metal stretch inhibitors disposed along a longitudinal direction of the thermoplastic elastomer, and base members coupled inside of the thermoplastic elastomer. The thermoplastic elastomer, metal stretch inhibitor, and base member are integrally molded. In the connection portion, a splice junction between the metal stretch inhibitors and a joint where the base members are connected together at both end portions with an auxiliary backing does not overlap in a direction of thickness of the moving handrail. Further, the metal stretch inhibitors that are spliced are enclosed with a thermoplastic elastomer.

  • Patent number: 6064939
Abstract: An individual guidance system for aircraft in an approach control area under automatic dependent surveillance which, by supplying the pilot with the required flight data automatically in units of micro air spaces, permits safe and accurate flight with little scope for human error, being an individual guidance system for aircraft in an approach control area under automatic dependent surveillance wherein the air-traffic control system divides the approach control area automatically into a group of micro air spaces, and establishes flight rules within the micro air spaces in order to guide aircraft by establishing no-fly air spaces.
