  • Patent number: 6436062
Abstract: A massager disposes a roller unit having a plurality of roller rows substantially parallel with each other at an outer periphery to which a vibration of a massage head is provided, the roller unit being swingable about an axial line substantially parallel with axial direction of the roller rows, whereby the plurality of substantially parallel roller rows can be stably engaged with the user's treating body part.

  • Patent number: 5836645
Abstract: In a lounger-type massage machine, a back support is reclinable relative to a seat. There is provided a leg rest which is movable between a retracted position where the leg rest is retracted to be held below the seat and a projected position where the leg rest is extended outwardly in front of the seat. A sheet is extended to cover the seat and the leg rest. There is provided a looseness prevention mechanism which pulls an end of the sheet inwardly so as to prevent the loosening of the sheet in both the retracted position and the projected position of the leg rest.

  • Patent number: 4822105
Abstract: A double ended ranging drum shearer is provided with a shearer body and a pair of drums disposed at front and rear end portions of the shearer body to be movable up- and down-wardly. The shearer is further equipped with detectors for respectively detecting the travelling position of the shearer body, detecting the inclination of the shearer body at the travelled position, and detecting the heights of drums at the travelled position. These detectors are operatively connected to a controlling device which is connected to a drum height adjusting device. The controlling device operates and stores the drum heights necessary for keeping constant the working height of a mining face in a pit in accordance with output signals generated from the abovementioned detectors, and the drum height adjusting device is operated in response to an output transmitted from the controlling device representing the thus operated and stored data.

  • Patent number: 4741577
Abstract: According to the applicant's invention a load detector is used, in which a load sensor and a vibration sensor are combined using an AND gate. A load signal from the load detector is used for the feedback control of the cutter drum height and double ranging drum cutter running speed, so that a person who is not skilled can operate the double ranging drum cutter while preventing overload acting on the cutter drum.

  • Patent number: 4715657
Abstract: A double ranging drum cutter for long wall type machines for coal extraction is disclosed, which comprises a drum cutter body, a television camera mounted on the drum cutter body for picking up an image of a coal layer cutting portion of a lower bedrock being cut by a cutter drum, a television camera mounted on the drum cutter body for picking up an image of a coal layer cutting portion of an upper bedrock being cut by a cutter drum, and a video image processing unit mounted on the drum cutter body and connected to the television cameras, whereby the boundary between a coal layer and bedrock can be readily judged to permit extraction of much coal without cutting much bedrock and also the ratio of the area of a bedrock to the area of a coal layer in a portion of the bedrock being cut can be readily detected.

  • Patent number: 4370856
Abstract: An arrangement is described for controlling a winch used in mining machinery, wherein the direction of operating a winch and speed thereof are controlled by changing the position of a control element of a fluid pump for supplying a fluid into a fluid pressure recirculating circuit, by a device incorporating the fluid pressure recirculating circuit and a control circuit. The arrangement is characterized by feeding ON/OFF signals for giving instructions of a position to a control element, by a bi-polar pulse generator. Pulse from the bi-polar pulse generator are fed to a reversible BCD counter by pressing push buttons, and comparing a voltage generated via a D/A converting circuit from the reversible BCD counter with a voltage generated from a potentiometer coupled to the control element according to the position of the control element to be selected, thereby controlling the instruction of the position of the control element; and setting a speed of the winch by pressing the push buttons.
