  • Publication number: 20240075760
Abstract: A crafting apparatus (10) includes a working portion (22) and a base portion (20). The working portion (22) includes a lower surface (32) and an upper surface (34). The upper surface (34) defines a working three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system (X-Y-Z). The base portion (20) includes a lower surface (24) and an upper surface (26). The lower surface (32) of the working portion (22) is disposed adjacent to the upper surface (26) of the base portion (20). The lower surface (24) defines a non-working three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system (XS-YS-ZS). The upper surface (34) of the working portion (22) extends relative to the lower surface (24) of the base portion (20) at an angle (?22) for angularly-offsetting the working three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system (X-Y-Z) from the non-working three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system (XS-YS-ZS). Methods (200, 300) are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240059089
Abstract: A heat press may include an upper assembly comprising a heat plate, a lower assembly comprising a platen, and a base assembly comprising a hinge mechanism. The upper assembly is pivotably coupled to the lower assembly via the hinge mechanism of the base assembly, according to various embodiments. The heat press may be generally configured to heat and compress, between the heat plate and the platen, a workpiece. A method for a heat press may also include a processor perform various operations, including activating a drive motor to drive an upper assembly of a heat press toward a lower assembly of the heat press to exert a compressive force on a workpiece disposed between a heat plate of the upper assembly and a platen of the lower assembly.

  • Publication number: 20240051317
Abstract: A crafting apparatus support member (10, 100) is configured to support a crafting apparatus (300) and a lower surface (324) of the crafting apparatus includes one or more boss-receiving cavities (325). The crafting apparatus support member includes a substantially planar body portion (12, 112) and one or more crafting apparatus interface portions (36, 136). The substantially planar body portion includes an upper surface (14, 114), a lower surface (16, 116) and a side surface (18, 118) connecting the upper surface (14, 114) to the lower surface (16, 116). The one or more crafting apparatus interface portions include a boss portion (38, 138) extending from the upper surface of the substantially planar body portion that are configured to be interfaced with the one or more boss-receiving cavities.

  • Patent number: 5647643
Abstract: A wheel hub for attachment to a wheel rim which includes a hollow axle and a pair of annular bearing assemblies is disclosed. The bearing assemblies have inner and outer annular parts, inner and outer circumferential surfaces, and inner and outer side surfaces. The inner side surface of the inner annular part of each annular bearing assembly engages the ends of the axle in end-to-side abutment. The wheel hub also includes a pair of stops having a wedge end and an axle end. The axle end of each stop may be disposed through one of the bearing assemblies and into one of the ends of the hollow axle capturing a respective annular bearing assembly between the wedge end of the stop and the end of the axle. An annular abutment bracket is press fit over each bearing assembly. Each annular abutment bracket facilitates attachment of the wheel hub to a wheel rim.
