  • Publication number: 20060254838
Abstract: A cooling device for a vehicle has a heat exchanger, a duct that forms a passage for air that has passed through the heat exchanger, and a cross-flow fan provided within the duct. The fan draws in the air that has passed through the heat exchanger and blows it out from the duct. The fan is placed outside of a horizontal projection area from the vehicle front to the vehicle rear of the heat exchanger. The duct has an opening portion that opens when the vehicle is at a predetermined speed or more so that the air that has passed through the heat exchanger when the vehicle is at the predetermined speed or more passes through the opening portion without passing through the fan.
