  • Patent number: 7806768
Abstract: A game server device (3) stores message information representing contents of a message sent by a player and a card ID identifying each of a plurality of players in association with each other. Each of plural game devices (1) reads from a card (2) a card ID for transmission to the game server device (3), receives individual information corresponding to the card ID for storage, and transmits the individual information to an opponent participant's game device (1) so that the information is stored therein. Each game device (1), in a case in which an event is detected, displays a message represented by individual information that has been stored and requests an opponent participant's game device (1) to display the message. Furthermore, each game device (1), in a case in which the display of a message is requested from an opponent participant's game device (1), displays a message represented by individual information that has been stored.

  • Publication number: 20090176575
Abstract: There are stored in a database stored in a host server (12) of a server system (10), a portable phone terminal ID, a player ID, a card ID, and individual information in association with one another. The card ID is identical to a card ID stored in a card (28) carried by a player. A course data set contained in the individual information specifies an order and names of music pieces to be played by a game device (18) capable of communicating with the game server system (10). A player uses a portable information terminal (26) to execute an application to specify a card ID and generate a course data set, the generated course data set is registered in the database together with a portable telephone terminal ID of the portable information terminal (26), as individual information corresponding to the card ID. When a player inserts his/her own card (28) in a game device (18), the game device (18) transmits to the game device (18) a course data set corresponding to the card ID by accessing host server (12).

  • Publication number: 20070298879
Abstract: A game system is has at least three game devices (2A to 2D). Each game device (2A to 2D) executes a program to enable a player to play a game, and the processor (21) thereof identifies at least two game devices (2A to 2D) that will participate in a game before starting the game. Processor (21) also generates game information (score information and an attack identifier) corresponding to progress of a game that is being played, and transmits, by means of a communication interface (22), the generated game information to each of the above two or more game devices (2A to 2D), while processor (21) receives game information generated at each of the at least two game devices (2A to 2D) and causes changes in game situations based on the received game information.

  • Patent number: 5943141
Abstract: This invention is related to an image reading apparatus for use in a digital copy machine and a facsimile machine. The invention is made possible to obtain the simple flat average value of the white reference data used for a shading correction obtained with a photoelectric conversion elements arranged in a line by sensing the reflected light upon a white reference plate. The image reading apparatus comprises an n-bit memory for the white reference data and another n-bit memory for the black reference data and a reference data processing circuit for summing white reference data after 2.sup.m times of line readings on the white reference plate. The summation of the data is carried out with the use of an n+m bit memory region, consisting of an upper n bit section and a lower m bit section, that is made up with the n-bits of the n-bit memory of the white reference data and m-bits of the n-bit memory of the black reference data. Then after summation of 2.sup.
