  • Publication number: 20190350430
Abstract: A stack of lint removing sheets suitable for use in removing lint from clothing includes a plurality of sheets stacked on top of one another, with each sheet including an adhesively-backed surface and a non-adhesively backed surface. Each sheet, when part of the stack of sheets, has its adhesively-backed surface against the non-adhesively backed surface of another sheet. Each sheet includes a strip that, when the sheet is removed from the stack of sheets, forms a passageway with the rest of the sheet into which a user's hand can be inserted. • Publication number: 20150335969
Abstract: A golf bag cover includes a shaft having an upper end and a lower end and a drape element having a water resistant side and a water absorbent side and a hole through a generally central region of the drape element. The upper end of the shaft is inserted into the hole of the drape element, and an attaching element is attached at the upper end of the shaft to removably retain the drape element at the shaft. During use of the drape element as a cover for a golf bag, the shaft is disposed at or in the golf bag and the drape element is disposed at or above the golf clubs and substantially covers the golf clubs to limit water intrusion at the golf clubs during rainy weather conditions.

  • Publication number: 20150328509
Abstract: A golf game flag pole for use in a golf game includes a rod having a base rod portion and an upper rod portion. A flexible element joins the base portion and the upper portion. The base rod portion is configured to be insertable into the ground. The flexible element allows the upper rod portion to be bent or pivoted relative to the base rod portion so that the upper rod portion is generally parallel to the ground. The base rod portion may be inserted into a ground surface, whereby the upper rod portion extends generally upwardly from the ground surface. When a golf ball towards the flag pole, the flag pole can be bent or flexed so that the upper rod portion is generally parallel to the ground and the players can determine if the hit golf ball is within a ground area swept by the upper rod portion.

  • Patent number: 6263891
Abstract: A golf bag umbrella adapted for use in a golf bag for providing optimal protection to items stored within the golf bag, having an extendable and retractable shaft and a collapsible and expandable canopy, underneath which is a flexible material, preferably mesh or netting, for preventing the golf clubs from becoming entangled in the support structure for the umbrella canopy. The golf bag umbrella further includes a handle, providing easy movement between an extended position and a lowered position while the canopy is expanded, such that the golf clubs within the golf bag may be easily accessible without having to remove the golf bag umbrella from the bag. The protective material beneath the canopy functions to prevent entanglement between the golf clubs and the support structure of the canopy, which prevents damage to both the support structure and the golf clubs themselves while also avoiding frustration on the part of the golfer as the golfer attempts to remove golf clubs from within the golf bag.

  • Patent number: 5507382
Abstract: A method and apparatus are described for stabilizing a thin, relatively frictionless conveyor belt against lateral movement. The typical belt is made of fiberglass and Teflon-coated and is mounted on rollers, one of which is a drive roller. The drive roller is equipped with at least one ridge disposed circumferentially adjacent an end thereof and the belt forms a track which receives the ridge as the roller rotates. The track, in turn, has mutually spaced holes along its length. The holes are disposed at least so that two contact the roller during each revolution, and the diameter of the ridge is less than one-half of the diameter of the hole. This tracking device then will maintain the belt during operation against lateral movement relative to the rollers.

  • Patent number: 4640231
Abstract: An apparatus for separating animals according to their weight or other chosen characteristic comprises support means for allowing the animals to be examined one at a time, boundary means providing a barrier between a first collection region for animals selected as satisfying a particular chosen criterion and one or more second collection regions for the remaining animals, and drive means operative when necessary to move the support means and/or the boundary means to introduce or to allow the introduction of a selected animal into the appropriate collection region.
