Abstract: A method, for a system (9) comprising at least one electronic component (1-3), at least one component temperature sensor (4-6) associated with said at least one electronic component (1-3) and at least one environment temperature sensor (4-7), for calibrating said at least one component temperature sensor (4-6), comprising the following steps: before or upon starting the system (9), measuring the temperatures of said at least one component temperature sensor (4-6) and said at least one environment temperature sensor (4-7), determining a reference temperature from the temperatures measured, calculating, for each component temperature sensor (4-6), an offset such that the temperature measurement of the component temperature sensor (4-6), corrected by the offset, equals the reference temperature, correcting by applying the offset to each subsequent temperature measurement.

Abstract: A method for testing a device for monitoring an item of equipment of a motor vehicle. The method includes controlling a driver with a microcontroller in order that the driver performs at least one diagnosis, detecting an electrical fault of the monitoring device, positioning a switch connecting the driver and the circuit board in its open position, controlling the driver with the microcontroller in order that the driver reiterates the at least one diagnosis, and, in the event of the electrical fault being detected again, locating the electrical fault on the driver or, in the event of absence of detection of the electrical fault, locating the electrical fault outside the driver and in particular on the circuit board or between the driver and the circuit board.

Abstract: Disclosed is a device for identifying sirens of priority vehicles and for warning a hearing-impaired driver of a motor vehicle of a presence of at least one priority vehicle in an environment of his vehicle, including at least one sound receiver, a computing unit for analyzing the audio recording and a unit for comparing the frequencies of the audio recording with frequencies previously stored in storage of the computing unit as being associated with a siren of a given priority vehicle, and for doing so for each type of priority vehicle, and at least one visual and/or vibratory element for warning the driver when a presence of a priority vehicle is detected in an environment of the motor vehicle.
