  • Patent number: 11945575
Abstract: A retractable fuselage mounted landing gear assembly is disclosed. The landing gear assembly includes a main strut, a drag stay and a landing gear main fitting. A first end of the drag stay is attached to the main strut and a second end of the drag stay is connected to the fuselage. A first end of the landing main fitting is attached to the main strut and a second end of the main fitting is connected to the fuselage. When the landing gear is extended, substantially all the landing gear loads are transferred from the landing gear to the fuselage via one or more of the drag stay and the main fitting.

  • Publication number: 20200063651
Abstract: A method for controlling a VG mechanism for a compressor employs a predefined VG setpoint map comprising optimum VG setpoints for the VG mechanism based on at least one predefined optimization criterion. The VG mechanism has at least three different setpoints ranging between a minimum flow area setpoint and a maximum flow area setpoint. A location of an operating point of the compressor on its compressor map is determined. Based on the location of the operating point, the VG setpoint map is consulted and an optimum VG setpoint is determined. A predictive scheme can be included for accounting for time lag of the VG mechanism's response.

  • Publication number: 20190232769
Abstract: A device for edge sealing of a part or a window pane of a vehicle body, which device has a fastening dement that fastens the sealing device to a body flange and retaining a sealing strand. The fastening element has a main leg, to which a decorative element is fastened, which has a surface visible after installation on the vehicle body, and a connecting leg, which protrudes from the main leg and is provided for holding the sealing strand. The fastening element and the decorative element and/or the sealing strand are formed of plastic or fiber composite material and the fastening element and the decorative element and/or the sealing strand are molded onto each other by injection molding. The fastening element and the decorative element and/or the sealing strand are produced by multi-component injection molding. The invention further relates to a method for producing such a sealing device.

  • Patent number: 10078373
Abstract: Temporally segmenting an instrumented gesture executed by a user with a terminal having an inertial navigation module, which measures a vector of inertial characteristics representative of movement of the terminal. Segmenting includes, at each current instant: calculating an instantaneous power value of the vector; estimating a gesture indicator based on variation between the instantaneous power value and a mean power value estimated over a preceding time window; determining a start of gesture at a first instant, when the estimated gesture indicator is greater than or equal to a first threshold during a time interval greater than or equal to a first interval; and determining an end of gesture at a second instant when, at the current instant, the estimated gesture indicator is less than or equal to a second threshold during a time interval greater than or equal to a second time interval.

  • Patent number: 9011813
Abstract: A method for production of hydrogen from organic matter, includes: pyrolysis of a feed of organic matter by passing a gaseous treatment stream essentially having carbon dioxide through the organic matter, the pyrolysis producing, on the one hand, a pyrolysis gas stream having the gaseous treatment stream, steam and volatile organic compounds originating from the organic matter, and on the other hand pyrolysis chars having carbon components; oxycombustion of at least a proportion of the volatile organic compounds present in the pyrolysis gas stream, by injection of oxygen, upstream of a layer of redox filtering matter comprising high-temperature carbon components; and after the oxycombustion, passing the oxidized pyrolysis gas stream through the redox layer, the passage producing a synthesis gas stream comprising hydrogen obtained by deoxidation of steam by the high-temperature carbon components.
