    Abstract: A dental throat shield includes a U-shaped support member having a pair of legs interconnected by a bight portion. A shield member is bowed or arcuate and made of a shape retaining yet flexible material so as to conform to and cover the throat area. A plurality of openings are provided in the shield member to permit the patient to breathe.
