  • Publication number: 20150085290
Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to a system (100) for analyzing a fluid (103). The system (100) comprises a light source (110) configured to emit light for transmission through a first optical transmission means (107a) to a measurement device (105). The measurement device (105) comprises at least a part of the fluid (103) and is configured to be illuminated by the emitted light. The system comprises a second optical transmission means (107b) configured to transmit shadowed or reflected light from the fluid (103) when the measurement device (105) is illuminated to an image capturing device. The image capturing device (113) is configured to capture an image of the fluid (103) in the measurement device (105) based on the transmitted information about the fluid (103). The light source (110) and the one or more image capturing device (113) are remotely arranged from the at least one measurement device (105).

  • Patent number: 8424397
Abstract: The invention relates to a particle counter apparatus for counting particles in a fluid flowing in a pipe or a pipeline. The particle counter apparatus comprises a pipe portion through which the fluid flows, where the pipe portion is provided with a fluid sample outlet for withdrawal of a fluid sample. Furthermore the particle counter apparatus also comprises a first fluid transfer body extending from the fluid sample outlet to a particle counter, and a second fluid transfer body extending from the particle counter to a fluid return outlet mounted in the pipe portion downstream of the fluid sample outlet. In the pipe portion there is mounted a propeller unit comprising a propeller and a generator, with the result that particles are distributed uniformly in the fluid before the withdrawal of fluid samples, and electric power is provided for operation of the particle counter apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7082848
Abstract: An injection needle particularly intended for transferring a representative fluid sample into a sample bottle (1) is closed by a membrane (2) made from a rubber elastic material. The needle has a tubular inner wall (6) having a needle point (8), and a tubular outer wall (10) concentrically surrounding and radially spaced from the inner wall (6) at least along a portion thereof distant from the needle point (8) and, at its end facing the needle point, having a conically tapering portion (12) sealingly engaging the inner wall (6). The outer wall (10) is provided with at least two apertures (14, 16) spaced longitudinally of the needle.
