    Abstract: Elongated rod or tubing in the shape of an arc of a circle with a buoyant in-water upper portion of the arc and with a non-buoyant in-water lower portion of the arc with a means of line attachment at the end of the buoyant upper portion of the arc, having whole of arc of sufficient weight in relation to its volume of displacement of water as to sink in water is useful as a fishing-post at the bottom of a body of water for attachment of a fishing line and hooks.
