Abstract: A high-throughput screening system and method employing compound relationship characteristics for facilitating hit selection may significantly improve hit confirmation rate and allow direct identification of active compound families exhibiting a certain level of SAR or other relationship characteristic. Valuable family and SAR information obtained at an early stage of the hit-to-lead process may facilitate identification of high quality lead series and contribute to the overall success rate of drug discovery processes.
