  • Publication number: 20150139610
Abstract: Methods and systems for generation of an index and Table-of-Contents (ToC) for videos based on user given labels or a combination of user input and automated indexing techniques are provided. According to one embodiment, an annotation tool and a video player are presented to individual subscribers/users of a video discovery and consumption service. Tags proposed by the subscribers to be associated with various portions of the video content are received, processed and integrated within a global ToC for the video. The service can assist subscribers that intend to tag a certain portion of video by automatically proposing suitable tags and portion boundaries. Subscribers can vote on the suitability of tags constituting the ToC. Responsive to a request to view video content, a customized ToC is presented to a subscriber which include labels selected from the global ToC in accordance with default tag selection/filtering criteria or filtering criteria specified by subscriber.

  • Publication number: 20140372533
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed facilitate obtaining a cloud agnostic representation of a multi-tier application. Cloud specific implementations of the cloud agnostic representation may be deployed on a plurality of clouds. In some embodiments, dependency information for each component service in a multi-tier application is obtained, wherein the dependency information for a component service indicates prerequisites for starting the component service; and a cloud agnostic representation of the multi-tier application is derived, wherein the cloud agnostic representation of the multi-tier application comprises metadata for obtaining each of the component services for a plurality of clouds, and a sequence for starting each of the component services, the sequence based, in part, on the dependency information.

  • Publication number: 20130282747
Abstract: A complex video event classification, search and retrieval system can generate a semantic representation of a video or of segments within the video, based on one or more complex events that are depicted in the video, without the need for manual tagging. The system can use the semantic representations to, among other things, provide enhanced video search and retrieval capabilities.

  • Patent number: 8052423
Abstract: The tunneling method for dental block grafting is surgical method for increasing the thickness of the soft tissue of the mouth prior to performing block grafting procedures for dental implants. The method includes cutting a pair of incisions in the mucosa. A tunnel is formed through the mucosa which extends between, and connects, the pair of incisions. The tunnel is then extended coronally to undermine tissue covering the recipient site. An acellular dermal matrix is then sutured to an exposed end of a dental implement pulled through the tunnel to position the acellular dermal matrix within the tunnel. The acellular dermal matrix is then positioned over the recipient site using a periosteal elevator, and the acellular dermal matrix is fixed coronally by suspension sutures. The pair of incisions are closed with interrupted sutures, and a block graft is fixed to the recipient site by a pair of titanium screws.

  • Publication number: 20100040662
Abstract: Fixation devices for tissue repair, for example sutures, surgical arrows, staples, darts, bolts, screws, buttons, anchors, nails, rivets, or barbed devices comprise at least one of angiogenic material; angiogenic precursor material which is capable of breaking down in vivo to form angiogenic material; or tissue-engineered material, which tissue-engineered material is capable of producing angiogenic material. In a preferred form, the material is incorporated into a polymer matrix having predetermined hydrophobicity to allow controlled release of angiogenic materials such as butyric or hydroxybutyric acid or salts thereof. Polymer matrix compositions comprising angiogenic materials and methods for tissue repair are also provided.
