Abstract: A soccer electronic personal assistant device includes a housing having a connector for securing the housing to a game official's wrist or arm. A penalty card pocket is disposed on the housing and containing one or more player penalty cards. A microprocessor is contained in the housing and programmed to process game associated information. Sufficient memory storage is associated with the microprocessor for storing game associated information. A display screen is positioned in the housing operably connected to the microprocessor to visually display game associated information for the official. A keypad input device having a plurality of keys operably connected with the microprocessor for official to enter or retrieve game associated information. A sound output device is operably connected to the microprocessor to receive a signal therefrom and to generate sound responsive thereto and a transceiver disposed in the housing and capable of wirelessly transmitting and receiving game associated information.

Abstract: A portable furniture combination and carrier comprising a shell having a back wall, a bottom, a first fixed side and a second fixed side, and a flexible base having a first wing detachably connectable to the first fixed side and hingedly connectable to the base and capable of standing perpendicular to the base. A second wing is detachably connectable to the second fixed side, and hingedly connectable to the base and capable of standing vertically, and an elongated bottom wing hingedly connected to the base at its end opposite the back wall, the bottom wing foldable to create a foot box and a top cover attachably connectable to the wings to form a box for holding a mattress. Alternatively, the combination comprises a chair having a footrest formed by folding the base, and a backrest formed by folding a top flap upwards from the interior of the shell.

Abstract: A portable traffic control device includes a base member having a lengthwise extent, a generally rectangular cross section, an upper side, a lower side, a front side and a rear side. A plurality of brackets is connected to and extending from front side and rear side peripheries of said base member, each individual bracket of said plurality of brackets having an opening to receive a mechanical fastener therethrough so as to fasten said traffic control barrier to an underlying support, the opening lying approximately on an imaginary plane coextensive with the lower side of said base member. One or more biasing hinge members are connected to the rear side of said base member. A support frame is pivotally connected to said one or more biasing hinge members and a barrier member connected to said support frame, said barrier member extending along the lengthwise extent of said base member and being pivotally biased toward the front side of said base member.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for distributing power from a main power supply line, the apparatus including a main power distribution module; a main power line connector for electrically engaging with the main power supply line; and a plurality of auxiliary power line connector receptacles for receiving auxiliary power line connector pins therein and distributing power thereto. A plurality of auxiliary power distribution modules is connected to the main power distribution module, each one including a plurality of auxiliary power line connector pins extending therefrom for electrically engaging with one of the plurality of auxiliary power line connector receptacles of the main housing, and at least one auxiliary power line connector receptacle for receiving a plurality of auxiliary power line connector pins.

Abstract: A wheel for a light-weight vehicle and associated methods are provided wherein the wheel has a relatively light-weight, has structural strength, and provides shock absorbing capabilities. A wheel according to an embodiment of the present invention preferably includes an annular-shaped wheel rim adapted to have a tire mounted thereto and an annular-shaped wheel hub positioned inwardly and spaced-apart from the wheel rim and adapted to be rotatably mounted to a frame of a light-weight vehicle. A non-circular shaped hub plate member has a medial portion thereof connected to the wheel hub and has other portions extending outwardly therefrom toward the wheel rim. The other portions include a plurality of plate member tips each formed along a radial axis extending outwardly from the wheel hub toward the wheel rim. A plurality of spokes is positioned in a spaced-apart relation to each other.

Abstract: An apparatus and methods are provided for sheltering and/or launching devices such as projectiles or a tracking device. The apparatus preferably includes a main body having a bottom, a plurality of walls connected to and extending upwardly from the bottom, and an inner chamber defined by the inner confines of the bottom and the plurality of walls. An inner chamber cover is connected to the main body for covering the inner chamber of the main body when in a closed position and for accessing the inner chamber when in an open position. A sheltered device mount preferably is positioned in the inner chamber and connected to the main body for mounting a device to be sheltered thereto.

Abstract: An aircraft for transporting passengers is provided having a raised and rearward positioned cockpit. The aircraft preferably has an elongate main body including a passenger compartment positioned in a forward end of the main body and a passenger window extending across the forward end of the main body for forward viewing by passengers positioned in the passenger compartment. The passenger window preferably extends substantially the entire height of the passenger compartment of the main body, the entire lateral extent of the forward end of the passenger compartment of the main body, and into forward side peripheries of the passenger compartment of the main body to thereby define a panoramic-type viewing window for passengers positioned in the forward end portion of the main body. A plurality of wings are connected to and extend outwardly from the main body. A tail is connected to a rearward end of the main body.

Abstract: An apparatus and associated methods are provided for sensing and indicating moisture for garments such as diapers, training pants, or adult undergarments. The apparatus preferably has a sensor housing and at least one moisture sensor connected to the sensor housing for sensing moisture in a selected location of a garment. The apparatus also preferably has a separate audio indicator housing, an audible alarm sound generator positioned within the indicator housing and responsive to the at least one moisture sensor for generating an audible alarm sound, and an electroacoustic transducer responsive to the audible alarm sound generator and connected to the indicator housing for radiating acoustic power so as to audibly indicate that moisture on the garment wearer has been sensed.

An end of the second plate is transversely connected to an end of the first plate along the common line and extends inwardly therefrom at a predetermined angle so that the first and second plates in combination define an angled plate member. A third plate is adjoined along the common line and extends outwardly therefrom in a different direction from the angled plate member. A shank is pivotally connected to a medial portion of the angled plate member and extends outwardly therefrom. At least one prong member is connected to and extends outwardly from the outer surface of each of the first and second plates of the angled plate member.
