Abstract: This new and improved reading apparatus will allow a person to read a book or magazine while their hands are free to perform task, such as, holding a child, talking on a cell phone, holding a strap on the train or bus, as well as, picking up luggage. The invention is made of a rigid plastic, wood, or metal sheet, approximately 9 inches wide and 12 inches long. A belt is attached to the bottom of the apparatus and then fastened around the reader's waist. The attachable belt is adjustable to fit people of any shape and size. A neck strap is attached to the top of the sheet and fastens around the users neck. The adjustable strap placed at a comfortable angle allows for ease of reading items, such as, a book, magazine, paper, newspaper, among other things.
