Abstract: A motor vehicle and a method of producing a motor-vehicle which can be used in a flexible way. The method can include at least one of: painting a base frame using a cathodic dip painting process; producing a chassis by attaching a drive train, a running gear assembly and an electrical system to the painted base frame; attaching equipment components for an interior of the motor vehicle to the chassis in order to form an equipped chassis; painting a top coating of upper body shell modules; producing an upper body module assembly from each upper body shell module by attaching a module electrical system for at least one of each respective upper body shell module and at least one module equipment component; and then attaching via at least one of adhesive bonding and screwing, the upper body module assemblies to the equipped chassis.
