  • Patent number: 9237999
Abstract: Cosmetic or pharmaceutical compositions comprising one or more substituted aminopolyorganosiloxanes (SH) with substituted amino groups which are bonded to silicon atoms of the polysiloxane basic structure via alkylene bridges or mono- or oligo(alkylenamino)alkylene bridges, where the amino groups present in the aminopolyorganosiloxanes (SH) are substituted at least partially by a radical of the formula (?) T-CH2—CHOH—CH2—??(?), in which T is the radical of a surfactant monoalcohol polyglycol ether with emulsifier character, the amino groups present in the aminopolyorganosiloxanes (SH) are substituted in the average ratio of at least 1.5 radicals of the formula (?) per Si-bonded aminoalkyl group or amino-mono- or -oligo-(alkylenamino)-alkyl group, and present amino groups are, if appropriate, acylated and/or alkylated and/or benzylated and/or protonated at least partially to give amide groups, are described.

  • Publication number: 20080014166
Abstract: Linear organopolysiloxane-polyoxyalkylene copolymers of the formula (I) are described, in which R1 and R2, independently of one another, are a straight-chain or branched, saturated alkyl group having 6 to 22 carbon atoms or are a straight-chain or branched, mono- or polyunsaturated alkenyl group having 6 to 22 carbon atoms, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8, independently of one another, are a straight-chain or branched, saturated alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, a straight-chain or branched, mono- or polyunsaturated alkenyl group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms or a phenyl radical, m and p are numbers from 4 to 50 and n is a number from 3 to 90. The linear organopolysiloxane-polyoxyalkylene copolymers of the formula (I) can be used in an advantageous way in cosmetic or pharmaceutical compositions. Moreover, they are suitable particularly for the cleansing and care of the hair and the skin, as emulsifier in emulsions, preferably in O/W or W/O emulsions, and as conditioners.

  • Publication number: 20070041930
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of polysiloxanes which comprise a plurality of quaternary ammonium groups in the molecule in cosmetic or pharmaceutical compositions for the cleaning and care of keratin fibers, in particular of human hair. The improvement in the shine and in the color protection of the hair is achieved if the polysiloxanes are used in an amount in the range from 0.01 to 30%.
