The clamping member of a generic luminaire further comprises a first connection area and a second connection area, the first connection area interacting with the groove and the second connection area being connected, in the assembled state, to the second housing element so that the second housing element is clamped by the clamping member relative to the first housing element. The clamping member is pivotably mounted in the groove, in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the groove.
